For a smaller ride, park up on flatts lane (Normanby) near the NHS offices and head towards Eston hills, there's a few miles of trails there, and it's a bit more accesible than the moors………….plus i reckon all the snow's gone from there!

Just out of interest on the BETD bearings website it says "outboard" bearings does this mean it's the same as the hollotech set up?

    Alright.
those ceramic BB's it says they fit on "outboard" ball bearings. does this mean Hollotech bottom brackets then?

O.k brill, i've stripped cleaned and regreased (that link was really helpful, cheers!):)
i've put the hub back together again, but i've got no noise at all when the wheel is "freewheeling" not a murmour! Is this right? When i was putting it back together i followed the diagrams to the letter and there seems no problems with the fit of the hub.

Have i done something wrong here or are DT Swiss generally quiet?

    ?

i've seen these advertised, the scandium rims are really light, but i have visions of these failing in a stack (495.00 for two weels weighin just over a kilo)

    fishy?

Yeah these have recently started rattlin' like a good'un, but it's really weird, cos there'e no play in the lowers.

my local bike shop is quite reputable, will they be trained to look at fox or do they really have to go to moto or the likes?

i haven't but because there's no movement between the upppers/lowers, didn't think it would be them?

if it is the bushes, am i running the risk of "inflicting" more damage?

Hi, i'm a long term reader first time poster, and i've got a problem with my fox forks (32 80mm) wonderin if you can help while on the subject………….

when the forks are locked out manually they're totally stiff and fine, but when they're bouncin' there seems to be a bit of movement feels like it's the headset, but it's definatley not, and i've tightened the cones but to still no joy!

there doesn't seem to be any lateral movement/play between the legs when i've checked, can anyone help me out please?
