Had a pair of eggbeaters on the main bike for about 2 years (about 2.5k miles)no issues but have serviced them three times since new) Got a pair on my commuter (about 1k miles) no problems and yet to be serviced. I think they’re hit and miss judging by the love/hate relationship on here…
Was hoping to get a new chain for the main bike and letting the parts “trickle” down to the commuter. Don’t like spending money (directly) on the commuter if i can help it, plus it’s a good excuse for a new chain on the good bike!
I’ll have a look at the wear rate on the chain on the other bike
:D
Gonna bump this up before i go to bed, looks like the bike has a union jack on the front so possibly not made in the U.S? Possibly from the late 70’s early 80’s…..
Anyone?
Running a FD with a longer screw through the limit adjuster on the “B” adjust. Sweet as a nut with the same chain length as was with my original 3×9. :P
There's a specific camera bag called slingback or somethinq – sure it's by AW. it's a back pack with a side access that just kinda'swings round to the front for easy access. sorry i'm a bit vague………..the thought was there though! :-)
Cheers, i've seen the specs on it which said it was 7-something or other grade alu (rather than heavier 6061) i expect the fork and the seat won't last too long anyway…..Yep bright red with glow in the dark stickers…..apperently!
The instructions are there on the singletrack "help" bit. and i did everything i was supposed to – i used snapfish rather than tinypic, that's the only difference.
