A few years ago i nearly took a university course titled “optical atmospheric phenomena” I really wish I’d taken it now. Then I’d be able to tell you a thing or two.

They’re still in really good nick. They were only twenty quid. But I expected more from them, as they’ve only been used for about 300. Dry miles. More disappointed really….

Can’t talk about the business side of things but I had loads of trouble and odd extra charges with bt a few years ago on a residential account, I refuse to deal with them or any company that’s part of them! Awful company to deal with imo

BT are terrible! With Virgin now, which has been fine. However someone’s gone to some lengths to set this up..(As a rule of thumb BT seem to be the worst of a bad bunch….)

Honestly I think Virgin are the best of a bad bunch, with BT bein the worst of a bad bunch! Everything breaks from time to time, it’s how its dealt with at the time that makes the difference i reckons…..

So i’ve had time to look through it and it’s not as “vast” as I remembered it would be, (especially once all the “fluff and non lego stuff has been removed!) Only have about a couple of kilos of assorted bricks and some bases -no complete sets -but lots of instructions!-for now i’m goin to keep hold of it…….and let this thread rest in peace (or lego pieces) :)

Hello all, i stopped brewing about 3 years ago (just before li’l Smoggy was born) but this thread has relit my passion! i’ve still got all the kit, so just need to buy the right ingredients now. Preferably looking at a one can only and a stout/porter type drink (i remember Muntons being quite good) but can anyone else recommend a different porter/stout?

    cheers!

Me and a friend used to sharpen metal rulers in the DT workshops……..Then hit each other over the head with them!

Same mate had an English Dictionary (the really huuuge edition) dropped on his head from a first floor storey window at school. He was out cold for most of the lesson and the english teacher didn’t even notice!

We both work in call centres now with no real career aspirations to think of. :(

So I’ve messaged the guy and offered him 20 quid if I’m successful but he wants 50 quid as a deposit! Would you still go for it of am I just being too cautious?

I’ve got one, had it since new changed it a bit (tyres stem and seatpost) but it’s am older model, 2007, was a bit long but a shorter stem sorted that out, I’m 5’9 and have the medium size, I wouldn’t swap it, it’s light and still comfy, and I’ve had zero issues with it. My only problem is I don’t ride it as much due to mini smoggy!

Ordered a tyre from them about 3 months ago, to be told about a week later it wasn’t in stock and would take a further week to arrive… waited and chased it up to be told it would take about another month to be in stock. Obviously order cancelled and i went elsewhere. If i’m honest the guys were always polite and helpful whenever i rang though…

Hi i’ve just changed from a 26′ schwalbe cityjet to a 26′ marathon racer on my commuter, it’s definately a lighter tyre with about the same “grippage” as the cityjet, bit of a “bujjer” to fit though……
