A lot of insurers will only insure you if you are the registered keeper, if your wife wants to start her own insurance and start building up a no claims history then probably best to put it in her name, or maybe put them both on a multi car policy.

You like her she likes you, you`re both in you 40s the clocks ticking, she was more than happy with you with a crappish job as you say and your baggage from a previous, she is quite fit(not amazingly stunning) you obviously get on together, as long as you want more bread snappers go for it, there are a lot of people out there that would not look past the crappish job or the baggage from a previous, what is the worst that can happen!!

Hi fergal , The descents are fine, and don`t mind a bit of hike with a bit of hard climbing but from memory it was hike hike and hike some more, much prefer to bury myself pedaling for 30 seconds, have a breather then go again and again to eventually top out.

If it’s a large enough company can you not become one of those employees who just turns up an does nothing all day, well not actually nothing maybe book a weekend trip or buy a few bike bits and just brew up and chill until the commute home

Could any kind person or moderator advise on how to move to chat forum, sorry??

A decent person would say at the end of the lift/week ” cheers for that what do I owe you?” you would reply either ” nothing mate it is no problem I drive in anyways” or ” how does a fiver or tenner sound towards the fuel”.
Sadly in life there are givers and takers and takers are defo outnumbering givers.
A prime example is when you start a big round in the pub it gets back round to you, you buy again the next thing half the round has left and you only get a couple back. Amazingly its the same ones that get just the one round every time, we all know one!!!

You will soon be at fault for sleeping in or wanting a day off midweek at late notice, will get turned right round and you will be down as unreliable.

As Garry Lager says but i`ve always done it in reverse and climbed up Mitredale and then round Burnmoor dropping into Boot then pick up bridleway near Esk view farm and follow river down to Forge Bridge.Option to add a bit on at the end out to Muncaster fell then follow the Ratty train for a bit before peeling off left and back on the road to Eskdale Green. Been years since i have ridden it but was always a nice ride.

Also I need to add if you are ridling away from gunfire on a motorbike like a scared kitten and run into a rock you can die

I`m only a week into it so an absolute novice the lad I spoke to teams up with mates ,parachuting out of the plane at the exact same time so they land in similar area of the island and then work together, not sure how it works as i would only kill someone that was working with me at the moment :-)

The playing area condenses every few minutes so if you are not within the circle you sustain damage and die!! you can run as fast as possible to the area or grab a form of transport to get there, but it can often be too far and you die.

To martinhutch, game probaly half an hour if you get down to last 10 or so, not sure after that ,lol restart the next game in a couple of minutes, so it is fine no hanging around.

Exactly same as you smog, bought an Alienware laptop not a clue what games to get saw an old mate who gave me the heads up on Playerunknowns Battlegrounds, got to admit I think it has the potential to be one of the best games ever if developed correctly, proper heart racing moments as you hear or encounter someone ready to ruin your day,few too many keys at the moment for someone who has got lazy with PS and Xbox controllers over the years, so end up panicing and taken out too often at the moment!!

Best of luck sorting.I Stopped selling on Ebay after a similar thing.
All those mentioning insurance that is not always straightforward, I sent an expensive component to be anodized and after a while it never came back so tried ringing the company, number not recognized, bit of searching found out they had gone bust 2 days before I actually sent it(had used for years), got onto Royal Fail and asked for proof of delivery as I had paid for insurance up to £500, they produced the guys signature to say he had it , i said how could you have delivered it they don`t exist , “we have delivered it to his forwarding address” I thought great where is it “We are not allowed to disclose this , if we did we would be breaching his rights”.But you have not delivered it to where I asked , yes but we have delivered it to who you asked at his new address. They will wriggle out of anything. Never saw it / him again just had to machine a new component at a cost of about £500

    Edit as per Jambo above!!
Gave up locking them out as 5 minutes into a technical downhill section I`d realize I was still locked out. The less to do the better is my attitude now, loving the 1 x 11 set up on my latest bike.

Very sad news, saw him cross the finish line in Greenwich when he smashed the Round the World record, he seemed so humble , like whats all the fuss about. Thoughts with all his family and friends at this very sad time.RIP Mike.
