Used k2s Burton Missions, currently on Burton cartels on a Gnu Park Pickle, Seem pretty bullet proof and super comfy, way better than the Missions imho. Good adjustment and highbacks can be set parallel to the board nice and easy without too much twist.

From experience, snapped a trek liquid 30 , top tube inch in front of seat tube and inch above front mech both clean through, machined myself a couple of hollow tube like inserts put frame back together and mate welded round breaks, used the bike next day and many times since, never been a problem, left the weld full, looks pretty much part of frame. Just sat as spare bike/ clothes hanger now.

As said ideally a 1.0 or 1.2 mm cutting disc. If you have to do it on the van protect it fully as within a week you will have rusty spots all over the paint work where each spark lands.Let the weight of the grinder do the work then it will be effortless, no need to force it!!

Boarded/ski with family and friends of all abilities in Flaine last week of easter for last 3 years , bumper snow tons of powder 09 and 10 this year was thin in resort but easily enough to fill a week higher up.99 times out of a hundred its lack of people close the resort and not lack of snow, very limited nightlife but personally we are there for the snow.

Don`t bother with the dry slope, book a board in a day course at one of the domes, about £130 not quite sure now, you will both have fun together, midweek only small groups. Hopefully both get your card stamped giving you access to the slope alone another 3/4 2 hour sessions and you will be well away.Then start enjoying a hobby that makes mountain biking look cheap.Happy days!!!!!
