Bought a 55 plate Disco Dec 2006, Never missed a beat apart from having to fit the EGR blanking kit as it was lacking power on start up in cold weather ,cost me £50 and took an hour or so to fit. Its averaged 27 mpg since I bought it. I would throw your money at a newer Disco that the same coin you were spending on the Sport, and you can get the option for 7 seats.

I would guess 15k at todays costs for a nice wedding. This is only the starter though it then increase on this figure by about 10% minimum per year Im on year 19 now and cant see the cost going down with teenagers and all , but I wouldn’t change it for a minute!!!

Got to admit have trained in that crap all winter so got round warm, vest, short sleeve cycling top, gilet, arm warmers, shorts knee warmers. Jacket stayed in pocket. I had the sense to go straight back to car across the village and change then went back to the hypothermia tent!! Saw some nasty offs, one looked really bad just over Whinlatter summit, shook me up a bit and brought it home how dangerous it actually was, hope everyone recovers.Well organised and supported event. My first sportive so can`t compare to others.

Getting a full dorma-bungalow done as we speak, fitters words were dont buy the underlay/grippers off the carpet shop as its where they make the money, i will be half the price, base it on £35 a room to fit gripper underlay and carpet, as im doing the whole house there will be a saving on this price. So we are looking at £220 ish for the lot.

Loving catching up with thread of the year after a top day on the piste, keep em coming!!!
Are you coming in extremely drunk and trying to use the wifey? If you are this can cause real problems, also if its a typical wifey then there should be two buttonssat the top that are obvious and one lower down that can be a bit tricky to locate, but fliddling with either or all of these should get it running a treat!!!

If anyone is thinking of trying a new wifey box then I suggest there is less chance of future comprtability issues if the wiring in the dongle has been cut ,also if you haven’t done any research on the new wifey may be best to cover up the dongle to prevent a virus!!!

Cables can end up very messy, beware!! also if you are having trouble turning wife off I find that almost any lycra especially bib shorts and knee warmers works everytime!!!

Every time I’ve had that problem this has sorted it, look round the back you will find a small hole where you have to poke something small into it ,you might find some resistance, just keep pushing, you will probably hear a small noise at first then it should work just fine, should achieve similar results in all rooms in the house!!!!

Planned on doing round Coniston water loop this morning, foot of snow minimum everywhere ended up with an out and back up the east side from Blawith and a brew in Hollands in Coniston, any bridleways we tried to sample were impossible.
