In that video it looked like it could be powered by the users own sense of smugness, so STW could be a market :P

Is that singletrack tattoo suppose to stop you noticing the owners child like arm?

Current LA threshold for funding is £23k, and you still have to watch the top up a home will charge (above that of the LA contract rate). Unfortunately private homes can charge what they like. We had a similar situation with my aunt, a change of home owner sent the prices soaring. Fortunately, she still had the mental capacity to understand what the situation was, and accepted she had to move, despite being upset about the move. We decided that we would give her a lift to look around other homes, and help her with the move etc. Even as a self funder our local Social Services did an assessment of her needs so we knew what type of home we were after, and they were very helpful in general.

I can't pin down why, but I'm really liking that bike(including the wheels). But student kitchens have changed since my day!! Good luck with the racing!

I manage fine without a satnav, but it helps having no car. I don't have a telly, microwave or an electric screwdriver. But iphone, computer and dishwasher are essentials for me, as is my cat feeding bowl with a timer. I'm sure I could live without all of the items in my house, but I wouldn't want to.

I run 120 Rebas on mine with no spacers and a 0deg stem, looking at the number of spacers/ stems some folk are running with 100mm forks, I'm not sure there could be any noticeable difference in bar height.

A grand 9, and that's only because I believe there is some more to squeeze out of life, so a 10 now would be peaking too soon :-) I guess it's all subjective, reading some of the aspects of life on here that seem to make folk unhappy, I consider these things a positive to me.

If the bikes are getting you down then yes, sell them, and start to set other goals that may be more in fitting with your recovery plan (when you work this out). When the time comes, you will have no better reason to buy that shiney new bike :-) Good Luck fella.

If those 100,000 babies squandered their educational oppurtunities, turned to crime, drink and drugs; wasted their time on the dole, developing long term physical and mental health conditions, spending time in prison, tossing their lives away on internet forums and spreading sti's and banging out thousands of more children to carry out there misreable gloomy legacies; then I'd probably go with a trident tbh

From GP referral to initial oupatients with a consultant should be within 13 weeks, with the 18 weeks being referral to treatment. I had a brief fling with one of the performance team in our hospital, and they seem to take the 13 weeks time frame pretty seriously. Quality data :-)

If someone sold me that pile of crap, I'd be getting straight back to them. In the original ad when asked to split the forks he states there are no faults with the forks. I wouldn't feel stupid for buying it, but I would for lying back and taking it!

Some people are just bell ends, if he was in a rush to an emergency why waste time yelling at folk.

If trashing your stuff and making false allegations are options in her list of ways to deal with relationship conflict, then I would walk away. There is no better indicator of future behaviour, than past behaviour. These problems can be compounded if you also have a tendancy to jump into a row. If you are going to give it a go, I'd get some third party help and try to work some of this out, I'm sure this process in itself could be quite challenging but if you reckon she's worth it.

I quite like the look of it, I struggle to understand why folk get upset by such things.

    Although;

UK will catch on in a few years when folk realise they can get out riding all year round

I think quite a few folk have realised they already can on a variety of bikes already.

    http://chrisking.com/tech/int_headsets_explained/int_hds_explain_2

The above should explain, it's nowt to do with the stem. My Soul needs a conventional headset, but Kelvin above seems to have the ideal solution to it. The length of stem is a personal thing. Try the titec one for length and get a feel of how much shorter you would like it. I tend to find when I swap frames I'll try a couple of stems before I find the right one, and I use the classifieds to keep the cost down when swapping. Good luck with the build and hope you enjoy the soul, I find mine a blast!

Could be me but the headset on that genius looks semi intergrated, you'll need a normal 'un for the soul.

but from my youth it seemed to have more than it's fair share of scally's per capita too.

LOL, I may have been born and breed on the mean streets of Ashbourne  but I am wondering just how many scally's that would be in a village of 1800 (?) people tops. Whilst I agree about the quarry traffic and it being dull, I'm struggling with the notion of it being the 'hood'. Last time I was there eating in the quirky veggie book shop cafe, John Hegley sat down next to me to eat his organic pizza. Perhaps I've been spared it's seedy underbelly. From my time working adult menatl health around that patch I wouldn't have any worries about living in any of the towns mentioned above, although at the time Belper did have quite a large and young heroin problem for it's size. But that was 10 years ago, and after doing the same around Manchester, there is little comparison.

I'm very grateful my parents made a different choice :D but then again whilst having no current desire to have kids, people change, we're fickle like that. For a chap who likes things unpredictable sfb, you spend a lot of posts trying to label people

Munge-chick – I find most folk think it's odd that I don't want marriage and kids. there are a few that think it's wrong, but they tend to be the folk that have forgot that choice is about weighing up pro's and cons, and then deciding on the option with the most acceptable compromises and benefits. I think once they have lost perspective on their own choices/ situation being 'right' is the only way to accept it. As I say I think most folk aren't that bothered and just think I'm a bit odd :D

I'm mid thirties, single and have no kids. I date but I'm not on the hunt for the 'one', as so many of my peers seem to be, so cannot really see how I will ever have them. I have good friends and family, love my job, have plenty of time for hobbies and am lucky enough to get as much female company as I want. I really chuffed folk marry and have kids and are happy, it is their choice and I'm good with that. I am aware more people think I'm odd for not wanting this, but I'm also good with this as it's my choice. We only get one shot at all of this, you have to make your own choices.
