Well done for getting some control back on your life; it’s going to make her a bit grumpy as this means she has lost some control over the situation. You probably need to start thinking a bit like a single parent when wanting your daughter to enjoy events and occasions particularly when they are events around you. This isn’t a dig of any kind, just speaking from my own experience. If you do all you can and prepare for them you and your girl will have fun, blaming the wife will just lead to more rows and missed times with your girl. Might seem a bit odd having to sort things like your own birthday etc, but but it can still make it great for your daughter.

But I’m struggling to see your gripe here; sounds like you’ve been unlucky but orange have responded reasonably imo. Leaving you with odd linkages first time seems a little off, but they sorted it. If anyone spent £2k on their road bike, a 105 equipped cookie cutter, then they should queue up at the Orange brand loyalty dept to have their face high 5’ed.

I went on a weekends biking with a mate and a group of his work mates, and one of them told me that the kashima coating had revolutionised his riding, and he wasn’t joking. The rest of the words that came out of his mouth then just sounded like ‘blah, blah, blah, blah. But I do like the colour of it.

I have to say, given the choice of A – simply order for the cheapest price from a place with stock, or B – ring somewhere without stock and ‘hope’ they they may cut me deal. It’s going to be A every time.

Used the flash as a helmet light for daily commuter and night rides; light wise was great on flash and at a push lit up country lanes ok for road use. The plastic lamp bit threads just wore out (soft plastic in that alu body requires very gentle handling if you are a regular user) and the light would just pop out after about a year. Several emails to exposure to enquire about a replacement, went totally without answer. Hence, i’m now looking at hope or trout for a new posh light.

As others have said, it makes me wonder what it’s hiding or just makes me think its had a hard life. I would rather buy a tatty frame and sort it myself. But some may think it’s more shiney.

Had altura attacks for 2 years, washed with the rest of my kit with whatever soap we have in, without issue. The endura kit i have purchased previously has always appeared well spec’ed and decent value. But it has never lasted, i don’t bother with endura any more.

Had a similar issue running reba’s with specialized types that size pretty big. Just cut off the lower velcro and used some zip ties.

34, 5’9 and 64kg; I also can’t remember when I had my last cold. My diet is a little hit and miss meal wise and I do like a drink, but I do tend to be munching some form of fruit every waking hour. I’m out riding and racing 4-6 times a week in all weathers and put in a fair few miles. But I don’t ride CX 😀
