Just start with a facebook group and see how it goes? A ‘proper’ club with officers and everything is way too much hassle I would imagine!

I use a Micro Floor Drive HV guiding and many people have bought them after seeing it in action!

Yep the diagram ^^ is for tyres, which measure outside width, whereas rims measure internal width… typically confusing for the bike industry!! Thanks all.

ETRTO 23 so internal I’m pretty sure!

Last question!! Rims are Giant 23mm but the kit above is 21mm or 25mm… best to go 25 right?

Good riding is a wee way out of Marrakech in the Atlas Mountains, so you’ll need some transfers but it is possible. Experienced and qualified guides aren’t as cheap as you might think! And many will be earning as much as guides in a lot of European countries. I can’t recommend any particular daytrip organisers though as we only do longer tours there.

Trailside repair method (if riding with a group)….

If you have an older wheel with shimano hub then you can take the QR out and thread the end of the axle into the hanger. You then use the wheel to ‘adjust’ the hanger until it and the rear wheel in the frame are more-or-less parallel. Works quite well actually!

    Edit: What Northwind said ^^^^^

Yep, same as every day. The bike shed at work had all the same bikes as usual in there and I didn’t notice any extra bikes on the way in.

Bought one of these at the beginning of the summer to stick in the camper. Worked great on our Alps trip

How is the battery life? Been tempted. If it had an optional 12v cable it might be perfect!

Pretty sure the 2017 Anthems are fitted with SwitchR dropper posts which are only made in 30.9mm?

I go through a set of BBB three-lens models about every 2-3 years. Seems decent value to me.

    I used http://www.plasticshedbase.co.uk/
Means I can move it whenever I need, can revert base to lawn when needed etc. I haven’t even filled it with gravel yey and its working fine!

Your GPS should be smart enough to carry on from the point you are at, so you can just leave the route loaded and continue following it each day.

I’m MIAS 2 and work for an organisation that employs a lot of freelance cycle guides. It is a ‘valuable’ ticket in that you will get a lot out of it, but there are very few properly full time guides in the UK. There are also a lot of MIAS2/BCL2/CTC qualified ride leaders out there!
If you have the cash and time then go for it!

Good to see that they are giving plenty of folk a chance to get through to the latter rounds though.

10-10:30 start until gone 5:00pm will be a long day!

We have a LittleLife Cross country. I think it’s great but the missus is a ‘smug sling parent’ so didn’t use it. Number two along soon so happy we have it ready. Keep an eye out second hand as a lot don’t get much use!!

Asgard is the default answer, I have a 4 bike (29er) and a few others on here do. They are as secure as you will get for a shed.

These always seem to be a good option if you are ok with 720mm bars… Save 150g or so for £29.
