Mine are awesome with ZTR355 rims. I’m 75kg and completely useless on a bike so they get some stick from me just because I can’t pick a line 😳
Don’t think they come in gold but you could always ask, hope do gold so I can’t see it being out of the question.
Not as many options for pro 3s, can only go up to 15mm axle on front, no problem if you stick to QR
Not sure about pro 2s being stiffer?

Thanks for the PSA. I had both these progs on my old PVR which blow up before I got chance to watch them.

Don’t know. could be deceptive. he went up those steps 2 at time in stides rather than running like the others. It’s gonna be tough to pull that gap back though

This is copied directly off HMRC, A direct bank transfer to HMRC bank accounts is NOT instant. HMRC no longer use Bank of England accounts they now use Natwest bank as do I so I called on Thursday to check, they confirmed 3 working days. Note the last bit FPS not available.

You can use your bank/building society services to pay by internet or telephone banking. To make the payment you will need the HMRC bank account details given below and your Self Assessment reference number, also referred to as your Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR).

If you don’t have access to internet or telephone banking but wish to make a transfer by other means, your bank may accept telephone, fax or written instructions.

If you pay using any of these methods, your bank will transfer your money direct to HMRC’s bank account.

It normally takes three bank working days for payment to reach HMRC. Bank working days are Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays. Some banks and building societies can take longer. You should check with your bank or building society to see how long they take to transfer payment and what their cut-off time is for initiating payment. If they take longer then you will need to initiate your payment earlier.

Note: HMRC is unable to make or receive payments using the Faster Payment Service (FPS)

If you owe any moneys that also has to be paid by close of play on Monday and as all known methods of paying take 3 working days to clear (online with billpay quickest but still quotes up to 3 days to clear) I’d say you’re already in for the fine. I finished Wifes accounts off on Thursday night, submitted tax return and payed the bill. That’s only got Friday and Monday to clear so I’m thinking she might get the fine.

Even with the plug out it is still possible to get an electric shock from the motor, I know this 😳 😳 😳

Looks like the motor brushes, lots of carbon/black dust on the floor under the washer. After getting over the shock (no pun intended) of the belt I got from the motor I could see daylight through one side where the brushes should be and the other side looks like it’s about to drop out. Found a small spring too, assume that pinged out once the brushes worn down to nothing.

Any news? The police should look this fella up. Not reporting it at least is very serious.

Recent news article I spotted this week where a van driver reversed over a cyclist: 😯

Although he stopped at the scene, the driver failed to report the incident to police and officers in Shropshire are currently trying to trace him.

scots do an ‘old fashioned’ variety in our local morrisons (tesco doe’snt do them) that are the larger more chewy oats, no husks ever, really lovely. far nicer than standard mushy oats. i’m a total convert.

+1 for the Scots Old Fashioned oats

EDIT: Forgot to say that Morrisons had them on offer this week, buy 2 save a quid.

Hope do a Campag freehub body to fit on the Pro III mono hub, then I imagine you’d just need a thin spacer to use your 8 speed campag cassette.

Was actually a commute last winter, at the time the bus station in town had just been relocated and was empty. Traffic was crawling along approaching a roundabout, I thought I was seeing things up ahead when an item of fruit appeared to fly through the air just missing car roof tops. I heard jeering as I approached the old bus station entrance and turned to look, to my horror my gaze was met with a large orange heading square on right for my face, I instinctively ducked and managed to evade the offending item of fruit. My eyes quickly scanned the darkness in the old building and spotted 5 or 6 chavs and, by now, several oranges hurtling my way. These chavs set off running towards my direction, I think to run away from the builders in the van they’d just hit but with me being on something like 3k worth of Santa Cruz I didn’t want to hang about any longer, I have never ridden through town as fast in my life.

Not had a bad experience. I’ve met a few forum members through pick up only type sales, just normal, decent folks.
Most recent, bought a few cheap items off scud, I paid paypal and had the items in 48hrs, even got a little extra freebie in the package that I never asked for, top banana that chap.

It really depends on the fit, which IMHO is the most important thing.
I went out for a Bell Volt, didn’t fit, tight in the wrong places. I tried every helmet in the shop and ended up with a Hex. Basically went out to buy the latest most fandangled and expensive helmet at the time and couldn’t have one cos of the fit. The Hex was about 32 quid and has done 2 years now, changed pads once, been a great lid.
Wouldn’t matter if a helmet was a quid or 200 quid, if doesn’t fit it’s no good.

Taka, you’re not far from me I noticed in your profile. I’m just at the other side of Widdop. If you want someone to ride the road bike with I’ll go with you. I’m fat and slow and not in a good state of fitness right now but I hope to make amends (see my recent posts). I did get going quite well on road bike, back in 2009 I did the 75 mile Roses Round event and finished around middle table. Anywhere near that distance would cripple me right now 😳
Email in profile if you fancy.
