Same here, tried to get to lower car parks for Famau but road closed, well for 2 wheel drives anyway. instead headed up to llandegla parked on the road and walked as far as the bird hide for coffee and shortbread biscuits!Fantastic like Lapland, heavy snow/sleet on way down.
People out on bikes etc. Denbighshire council must be missing bin wagon, right off the road on the access to mtb center!!!

I agree with Bunnyhop, the top section at Penmachno is very exsposed, you'll get to feel the full force of the weather up their! stay within the tree line.

Loads of information and tips on here, having had astove before-Parkray Chiltern and my parents had a Hunter, we'd go for multifuel.thses two stoves also were our central heating and hot water supplier. Fortunately we're rural enough not to be in a smoke control area.
The air vent issue is dependant on stove output, over 5kw and you need avent in the room.

    How about some pictures?

Thanks for the advice, the installation process seems to be caught up in H&S now.
Fitted a multifuel to our first house 22yrs ago, no flue liner, just 1 meter length of enamelled pipe and finished of with vermiculite and cement!!
Local contractor wanted 2k for fire opening alteration and fitting of liner!
Looks like I might have ago

I've got a black lab. Ex rescue center, full working pedigree. We regularly do Llandegla mid week and he copes well with this sort of distance.Bridleway rides and cheeky rides more difficult with faffing about for leads or getting of bike etc when crossing roads, oh the other thing with a working dog they'll want to hunt so be prepared for enforced stops while the investigate.
On the subject of pedigree or cross, very active dogs need exercising regularly and how will they fit in with your household. I built a covered run for our dog, so he lives outside during the day.

If you've got kids your life revolves around them, if you get a dog then your lives revolve around them!!!!

If it is Dave F then that'll put pay to the C2W scheme we've been trying for.
If your tuned in Dave good luck and a speedy recovery,I though you had a dicky collar bone anyway.

Look on the bright side more time to build bikes!

Apologies fivespot, how dare I think you would actually fall off!!!
    See you tomorrow then

Delamere seems to have a strange mix of walks and cycle routes/ no seperation but very popular over a weekend.

Took my daughter there last summer but what looks like singletrack fizzles out into nothing, very frustrating.
There are route maps showing a blue and white route around the forest but these appear to be mainly fire roads.

A chap by the name of "Dave Dodd" used to advertise Monday night rides on here some time ago, but I haven't scene the advert lately

Thanks for the above comments, has anyone fitted the Cyclelife/Outland D31-eight bar stem grip setup. Seems good value all in at £40ish.

I think STW used these with the multi use article acouple of monthe ago

Sold my old Saracen Tufftrax on here to a guy up in Stavely two years ago. Happy memories of the bike and adventures, 20" frame orange in colour with limited standover and center pull brakes, biopace chain ring, 92/93 vintage.
Never gave any problems, brakes useleess when wet/grimey.
Posted a few picks on here whilst out and about, returned comments like a farm yard gate if I remember!!

Tested our broadband speed through the self test function on BT's own site.

No wonder I've got the time to walk the dog and mow the lawn prior to video footage buffering to a standard/advance so I can watch.

so here it is 934kbps, wow welcome to dial up!!!

there was agreat piece of video on Dirt, Transition Transam fantastic scenery etc, it took 15 mins to load.

Ps…we had alook at a G reg t25, 1.6 diesel( non turbo) but it was the storage that put us of, as the conversion was by Leisure Drive and it had ahigh roof, very practical but it would be poking up above the fence with our neighbours.
should of bought though as it would of cost us the same as the week we had in Majorca.

I think the working time directive for average working week is measured over something like 17 weeks, I know my working week takes into account my annual holiday entitlement. Whereas my wifes working week is the actual time she spends in work.
I also work a compulsary 3hrs overtime/week paid at flat rate, but there again I work a 4on 4off shift pattern with overtime available on top.

Just dont get it or my wife!!
what this supposed to symbolise, obviously no shortage of money in this household.

19 years married on the 1st of Sept, dress still like the last time it was worn, confetti still caught in some of the front detailing, oh and the last time it was worn 19 years ago. Next time possibley daughters wedding!!

    Sentimental or traditional types.

A conbination of the above seems to do the trick, frame in vice and heat the outer and stillies on the seat tube.Local garage etc for oxy acetelene/propane.
Paint may not look its best afterwards.
I take it the frame is steel.

Iknow this doesnt help at this stage but why do people leave their seat tubes in, quick release!!

Very little news about the situation on the national news.

My wife is adiment we,re not going and I,m worried about the kids.

Going to travel agents tomorow and see if they can divert/ send us somewhere else.
Insurers cant help unless we are stuck out there or in trouble.

At the end of the day the holiday is to recharge our batteries not drain them with further stress

So what happened to their designers engineers, got absorbed into the mighty Trek?

The suspension bike with the amazing lay back seat post and long shock did it work?

The hard tails look great especially the first pic, but there again I like hard tails, pity about my knees.

I’ve just read the remaining posts on here, do you thimk autism is more wide spread now or do you think the diagnosis has improved.

Matt had his diagnosis as he moved from infants to juniors. He now attends a special unit at a local school. He has also been accepted at a local secondary comprehensive with support staff/ unit.

The bike thing may come overnight, Matt could read or write until he was 9 years old although we tried constantly to get him to read, then he started reading and writing stories. it was if he had no intrest but the ability was always there!

“Flippinheckler” you mght of seen Matt and myself at Llandegla walking a black lab, I use it as away of trying to encourage the bike intrest, but I think the hot chocolate at the end of the walk is the real bonus for Matt

    Hi

A subject very close to my/our heart. My son Matthew has a diagnosis of Aspergers syndrome, part of the ASd range.
I’ve tried Matt on bikes and although he can ride the steering and pedalling/ braking is completely lost on him.
Recently we obtained aplace at our local RDA center in Llanfynydd, only couple of miles from us and he has taken to it. They have enrolled Matt on the vaulting activity and he loves it.

Cant say enough good things about the staff.

As a dad who loves mountain bikes I cannot express the frustration of not being able to intrest/involve my son in my hobby
