Crib Goch is a very exposed ridge, if the kids are to “active” they could end up down the side, I’d use the PYG or miners for there age group

Dont think its the BB92 as previously suggested, made by Tange. threaded caps either end rather cheap looking bearing races and a plastic tube between the two caps.
All the ones I’ve seen on here look to have a solid metal tube/ spacer rather than this plastic tube or is it they are higher quality
looks more like BB UN26, remember this is for 92

I can imagine their wives tell them to get out and use it or sell all therir kit and go back to golf

I suggested a duct at the rear of our stove priorbto installation, but building regs wont allow plus the cold air hitting the stove casing may lead to uneven heating, cooling and could possibly buckle the casing.
the duct into the hearth was adopte years ago by an open fire grate manufacturer but cant remember their name

Did the first oil change on my new acquisition today, didn’t realise how low to the road the engine is until I tried getting underneath and I don’t carry much weight! 😀
It amazes me the way some people treat their car, the oil looked more like crude, and when I took off the oil filter bowl someone had left the previous O ring in there prior to the last oil change. Nice and golden now though
On the tow bar front are the chassis rail threaded at the top, seem like plain holes in the lower, oh and are they the same as 850’s

Ok, lets just say that your sitting MP lives in their constituency and when they attend parliament they stay in a purpose built accommodation, one bed, whilst in London.
Doesn’t one of the european counties do this

Mr laws, liberal, fiddled his expenses stepped out of the way whilst the flack is flying there brought back in, I’d love a liberal to stand at my door come election time

    oh and the tuition fee?

I find I tend to walk the trails, with the company of my lab, than ride due to the condition at the moment, keeping the trails clear of fallen branches etc. pity that not everyone has the same approach.
Local council has thinned some of the trees which i understand for light etc, however I did say the tight and twisty nature would keep speeds down, now with increased bike traffic the trails are being “blocked” more often by other users of the woods

    Hi All

Viewed a 2000 2.4 petrol noticed that the pipe from exhaust manifold to intake/ maf sensor missing is this a common “tweek”. Probably only used when starting cold as an air preheater, any experience.

Having seen the video of the lorry blind spot and with governments trying to promote cycling surely there should be design changes to the lorry cab, window sill height brought in by legislation

Whilst cycling yesterday on a blue cycle route was hooted and “waved” at by passing well known parcel company lorry, as I passed him 1/2 mile up the road. He had stopped to drop of delivery, I commented that still be in town before you to have a hail of abuse thrown back at me.
Perhaps some sort of psychological test should be introduced for commercial drivers, never understood this as they are being paid for their time!

Having a teenager, diagnosed with aspergers, just about to take his GCSE’s this summer, there seems to be focus on child autism as in the Horizon programme, but to us as a family it has always been the movement into the adult world and independent living skills, after all we wont be around for ever!
The educational statement finishes at 16 here and it is taken over by Careers Wales we are looking at local colleges/ 6th forms where the support structure is in place.

I think you guys are all looking at newer models than I am, 2000 to 2004ish for me as will be our Third car or my car if daughter passes her test, so looking at 100k miles ish
Now worrying about auto boxes and the overheating/ cooking oil and contents as previously mentioned

    smartay
    Full Member

Most of the cars listed are autos, for some reason. You mention the oil cooler for the auto box, is the cooler visible when opening the bonnet ( separate radiator) or is it a shared radiator with the engine.
Best take some allen keys with me to check oil condition then

Not exactly trouble free motoring then! or they will do big miles with a little help

Down draft fault, used to fit “H” pots to rectify especially if under hills or trees
The glass problem is probably due to lack or air wash, top air or leaving stove on too low a setting
My parents Trianco solid fuel boiler needs a fire lighter in the flue to get it to draw from stone cold

That cable looks very close to heat source, our stove is 6Kw whats and I wouldnt run a cable that close

Yes job evaluation has already taken place and there is an appeals process but if the idea is to reduce cost, whats the point.

As above literally on my doorstep, 8 miles, so ride up round red/blue combo, hot choc then ride home.
Did it to death at one time then broke scapula on black so not quite the same

As I said before use the right tool for the job, 6″ travel both ends, its to smooth 😀

The move to a more specialised school is triggered by behaviour issues or that the child can cope/ keep up with mainstream school.

Our son was moved to another school with a department for special needs, to be honest we that period of junior school was wasted. however since our son went to secondary he has flourished, the different standards of teaching and the attitude of children and parents as well.

The junior school, which will remain nameless, was in a very desirable area with the typical pushy parent types who wanted to keep the “special” children separate from there own, this was so apparent at this time of year with the nativity season upon us

    smartay

Our son is diagnosed with aspergers, non mathematical, passable It skills, in fact he has no interest in computing, peer mentor in school but enjoys drama, english and history and likes an audience.

However, time awareness , routine( his own) hand washing and fixation on objects… unfortunately not bikes

Just goes to show how wide the spectrum is

A diagnosis is one thing but it doesnt change the condition or situation
