good plan hora, though you will make me jealous- i still miss mine!

undecided myself; heart says take the new sovereign out for a spin, but my head says take the 5 cos it will be gentler with my post-op wimpiness!

    nice bike!

they look like 09 revs though; cant see the 'power bulge', different shape lower leg arch. do they have post or is mounts?

not that it matters, same damping system after all. the 2010 ones are a lump lighter though.

im 6ft. was torn between the medium and large but went for the large so i could run the short stem and inline post, theres only half an inch in the top tube between sizes.

the seat is pretty low there, not sure if that accounts for some of the big look?

i followed what the park website said in the end rather than the shimano one and it worked no probs. bikewhisperers thing worked temporarily but it turned out there was still a bit of air in the system, the park way of doing it seemed to get rid of the bubbles better.

    cheers all.

sit on the floor with your legs out straight in front of you. put your right foot over your left leg and place it next to your left knee, so that your right knee is almost fully bent.

hook your left arm around your right knee so your knee sits inside your left elbow. grab yhour left hand with your right.

keeping your right foot on the floor, pull your right knee towards your left shoulder and hold it for 60 seconds. then, dont release the pressure but tighten it as much as you can and hold it for 30. tighten again and hold for 30.

do this several times a day as its a thick old tendon you are trying to stretch.

this isnt specifically for sciatica as such, its more commonly used for certain types of knee pain but it helped a lot with my sciatica.

they arent heavy considering what they can tolerate compared to lighter, more xc biased stuff. looking at similar products of lesser quality the price isnt much different either.

    update!

having sat down with mine last night i really enjoyed what i read; first half dozen articles, most of the tests and the long termer bit. think it was just me being a bit cheesed off about not riding lately.
