when taking your mates down an evil trail which you know and they dont, always point out the worst lines and say 'its the only way to do it'.

even better if you have a camera handy!

once they are bleeding and demoralised with their bikes in the creek below, ride the proper line with the excuse 'i just went with it'.

what bike are you fitting them to out of interest?

floats are great, as said above its much easier to adjust to suit your weight.

that said, its not that hard on a coil fork and they definitely are more supple and smooth

    both are great forks though

the rotors should be absolutely fine. hope rotors are a little bit wider than some but you shouldnt have any problems if they are straight and true

yep, great folk. i contacted them out of the blue having found them on a google search. they sorted me out with an unbeatable price on a commencal supreme frame and threw in a maxle rear end too. not to mention a good hour or so's advice on the best bike for me.

i wish my lbs were half as good as them!

sdg ibeam post with ifly seat saves a good amount, not bad value for money if you can find somewhere doing that 'buy the seat, get the post free' offer.

as already said, wheels and tyres would save a fair amount, 1×9 will save around a pound too

ditch the dual shifters too. just because 😛

lol daveells, i think you should trot that comment out for every single new bike on here and see how many folk take it as an insult that they ride a 'girls bike'

from the forum rides ive been on, most folk ride suitably trail orientated bikes either ht or 4-5" fs with varying spec depending on budget.

apart from me on my near 40lb tank that is

all your questions seem to have been answered so ill just throw in another 'go for it' comment, you wont regret it. rangers path is one of the best trails you will ever ride

if you havent already bought a bike id consider a commencal supreme, ive seen them for sub £1800 for this years one, retail is 2500.

i use mine for 'xc', by which i mean downhill but riding to the top first. cant fault it (apart from the weight)
