I really wish they would do a UK wide FC parking pass. Yes it will cost more but I’d happily pay more to not have to worry about digging around for change in different car parks all over the country. How much more is clearly open to interpretation as you wouldn’t be using your local carpark if parked elsewhere.
Having just spent nearly the whole day (due to people unable to drive) driving from Devon to Hope. It will be something around there Tomorrow and in fact every day till Thursday.
Pub Friday night
Brixham Pirate Festival, BMAD festival and a 65th birthday party on Saturday
Rock Band at the local and a Lemonfest warm up party Sunday.
I definitely needed a long weekend to squeeze a ride in!

I have to ride about 2.5 miles of road to get to my local trails and the bulldozer doesn’t seem too bad to be honest
This was 13 miles of road with riding companions on road bikes for company. I barely noticed I was on an MTB with the chupacabras but felt every mile of it on the Bulldozers.

I was tempted to go double bulldozer, but the size and weight might be a step too far exceptionally tough tyres though and roll surprisingly well.
Double Bulldozer is fine in the winter but draggy as hell on drier trails. Bulddozers are also hell if you gave to ride any road as part of your ride unlike the Chupacabras. My chups are in good condition though so I’ll whack one of those on the back for the summer.
I actually live right next to a sewage treatment works but its recently been upgraded and we can’t really tell it’s there now TBH.
It always strikes me as mad that it’s cheaper to have a septic tank with the cap right by the sewage works fence and get a lorry to collect it and drive it round the corner than it is to be on mains sewarage.
I’m just wondering if it will cope with the usual pounding of rocky descents I do without a) blowing through the travel, b) smashing up the back wheel etc c) still enjoyable
I didn’t blow through all the travel or smash the back wheel descending the beast (or any other descent in the Peak) at a reasonable pace. Sounds like you would be best demoing both though. Maybe talk to the guys at 18 bikes if you’re a Peak local – they will be able to advise better than most I’d guess.
Or Dawlish Warren – tacky as hell when you arrive but walk further down and it gets quieter and quieter. You can get a train to both Exmouth and Dawlish Warren from Exeter.
I’m actually going to Glastonbury for the first time in 20 something years (I’m more of a Beautiful Days person myself) but apart from the Foo Fighters I really can’t see me going near any of the main stages most of the time.
Try to think of work problems in terms of how they will make other people feel rather than how they will make you feel. Solving them makes you feel like a better person and you don’t end up spending time dwelling on what a rubbish day you are having.
Fantastic fork! Basically Dorado internals complete with hydraulic bottom out. I prefer the one I have on my Stache (replaced the weedy fork that came on it) to the pikes on my fulll suss.

I dont see why this is an issue, if its good enough to race at Le Mans… A “fast car” is a fast car no matter how its powered.
This thread needs rules – agreed no problem with diesel but something like 0-60 in under 6 seconds as a minimum qualifier or something as “fast” is clearly pretty subjective!
I’m not a fan at all but I do respect the fact that he’s gone from a slot on the croissant neuf stage at Glastonbury in 2011 to headlining the pyramid on Sunday this year and seems to have mostly taken over the charts in the process.
It’s worth noting that only Spotify and Amazon Prime Music work with Alexa if you ever want to go down that route. I really wish Deezer did as I much prefer it to spotify!
