Like said, makes sure you adjust the limit screw so you don’t accidentally shift into the bash ring.

    Shorten the chain too.

I’ve just fitted a multimedia system to a 74ft boat.

Running a Qnap Ts-259 Pro+ 6tb 2 Bay mirrored, with twonkymedia and plex media for iPad viewing. Plus 4 squeezboxs in the cabins flybridge and cockpit area. Using iPeng, ipengparty for guests. With an Oppo Blu-ray and Demon amplifier which is also connected to the network so I can pull media off the server.

All interfaced using iPad, iPhone and iPod. Works like a dream. Esp through the Genelec speakers in the main saloon. 8)

so the OP spent £430 on a set of wheels you can get merlin to built for £80 less then add postage….

    Big F***ing deal.

try taking a set merlin built wheels into your LBS and ask then to true them FOC.

Plus hopes factory hoops with black hubs are not custom.

The floating ones usually foul the calliper body where the rivet holds the two pieces together. I’m sure the none floating saw will be fine.

The hope hoops usually come with a 15mm and QR adaptor with the wheels

So you should only need to buy the 20mm.

Mine arrived today in shiny red.

If I was a professional bike mechanic I would spend that kind of money on a tool that’s going to last.

I’ve spent thousands on tools. They will last forever hopefully, unless I drop it in the water or those damn airport handlers steal them.

I test rode a Rose MR Ride (29er HT)for a long weekend, in the summer last year. It was a great bike and great value for money. finish was great, you couldn’t see any of the welds, internal cabling etc. great value. 4 week waiting period i think they said.

The price was cheaper as it was last years model. It was 20% off.

I didn’t get it as I got a job away from home.

mine have been on the bike for a few years never had a problem! I’m 93ish KGs and i ride pretty hard over everything! and they roll really well, never had bearing problems.

The only thing i don’t like is that they’re not tubeless.

but for the price they are great and flat spokes are awesome! 8)

I rarely worry about how my lock looks…..
Yeah that seemed an odd selling point given that it looks like someone has stuck a big fishing reel on your bike.

i guess they had no other selling point. as its a weak design!

Ive just come up with a better idea than this!

I hang mine over the sink so the remans and dirty water run straight into the drain. I use two sheets of kitchen towel to give it a scrub. then a dry one to remove any remains!
