I fitted my light to one of the seat stays. Used an old inner tube to make it big enough to clamp round. Works really well, plus the light doesn’t get caked in dirt or soaking wet.

You can use the standard rotors that came with the bike. The avids might not fit the hope floating rotors (some foul the rivets) x2s are more XC oriented I’m sure they will be fine. M4s would suit you needs better.
