before the pics I read the OP and fully expected to see my mates Red Super V, as he did the same thing with the brakes but stuck on a pair of yellow Z1s to replace the fatty. He was a big lad and his Tioga Factory Dh’s used to sound like an HGV on the road back down to the windermere ferry.

Yep friends of mine asked when we’re going to visit them down there, Mrstubing told them in no uncertain terms that it ain’t gonna be anytime soon with two kids under four.
Off to Rotovegas for a days shuttling at the end of the month ,apparently its getting logged this year and a lot of the trails are gonna be ****.

I love this verse from ‘Brother my cup is empty ‘ By Nick Cave

Well I’ve been sliding down on rainbows
Well I’ve been swinging from the stars
Now this wretch in beggars clothing
Bangs his cup across the bars
Look, this cup of mine is empty!
    Seems I’ve misplaced my desires
Seems I’m sweeping up the ashes
    Of all my former fires
    So brother, be a brother
And fill this tiny cup of mine
And please, sir, make it whiskey
For I have no head for wine

My ex’s sister was not necessarily hotter but was definatley funnier, bigger cans, taller and more graceful (the ex was an olympic standard clutz).
Mrstubing is definately the hotty of her family but youngest sis got the long legs, middle sister is a carbon copy of the mother-in -law. 8O

While managing and outdoors store We constantly had trouble getting locals to work, always found the travellers and tourists stuck around longer.
Anyway one day a hot little blonde girl walks in wearing the tightest jeans I’d ever seen. She opens with “are you guys looking for Staff right now?”
i replied that we were, just then Metallica came up on the IPod over the speakers in the store. Blondie proceeds to say “Ahhh **** yeah I love this band” and throws me some Metallist Goat horns. Me and the assistant manger exchange puzzled glances, within seconds of me attempting to ask if she had any outdoorsy or sales experience her phone rings ans she gestures for me to shut up, breaks into fluent russian and walks out the store never to be seen again.
    Great arse though.

wearing an indestructable garish Mambo watch at present, bought as a temporary fill in while my animal got fixed, outlived that piece of crap by years! also have a nice Fossil which came with a strap which disintegrated within 12 months so its sitting in a draw till i find a suitable replacement. Posh occasions and work call for the Swiss Railways watch. I love its simplicity.

some gems being posted here, i saw Silverfish,Chumbawamba and Fugazi in an amazing triple bill in the Barras in 92. Lived in Germany in 91 and my girlfriend at the time was heavily involved in the local hardcore scene to the extent that we used to house bands who were touring europe on a budget.
had the following crashed at our place during the summer of 91:
Gorilla biscuits, snuff, chumbawamba, No use for a name,Sick of it all, Alice Donut, Cro-Mags,and NofX.
i scored many a free gig entry and tour tee. good times indeed.
Oh and lets not over look the mighty Hard-ons. ozzie nutters!

    Funny old world innit?

I drop piles of bike mags off at local health centre and testing stations waiting rooms, gives other fellas a change from the Hello/Chat/women’s Day fodder which is the only usual option.
Might even spark some interest into some petrolhead every now and then…
