Toddler logic: a conversation with a friends 3 year old boy began with, "Do sharks eat ghosts?" It got weirder after that.

I went to a boarding school about 10 miles from Kendal in the early eighties and we had an outdoor Fives court, its a fun game and it certainly toughens your hands up. Sounds like one of them.

Auckland- best, good weather, great range of food both eating out and groceries, quality of life is reasonable people are friendly, no chavs, cheap cars/petrol
worst- its new zealand and so a day away from the rellies and friends on a nut crushingly dull flight.

however the pound is the weakest against the NZ$ that I have ever known so probably not as good value as it might normally be.

I had my first ever migraine about 4 weeks ago brought upon by a very stressful week, it started with a pretty rough headache at a bout 4 pm on a wednesday and by friday when it hadn't subsided and i'd spent the most of the night vomiting I went to the doc's. He did loads of neurological tests and was very thorough before giving me some 10mg Maxalt melting lozenges which worked within 20 mins. Haven't had anything like it before or since.

Ton have you considered Konas in you quest to personally keep the cycle industry afloat in these austere times? i an not as lofty as you but tip the scales at a cuddly 93 kg, have found the Coiler amply(?) takes all i can throw at it.

tried to impress my mates sister by hitting a reasonable drop off about twice as fast as I normally do. got a continuated fracture of the greater tuberosity on my right arm. I nailed the landing but the front wheel washed out as I tried to scrub the speed for the run off.
took months before I could lift a phone book.

My take on this is it's a bike for people (of which I am one) who want a nice framed moutain bike, not necessaily for hucking or abusive riding. There seems to be a high count of hardcore hardtail types abounding here on stw( as verified by the endless "what 200mm hardtail niche-rig?" posts) however im damn sure there's plenty of us out there who would see this as a sweet ride for longer days and not so much of the mental descent type riding.
i'd give my left t!t for one. I loves me some slim tubes!

mine came with poxy awful nokian 2.3s ditched them as they were both heavy and crap on dry loose surface which is what i predominantly ride.however i reckon you couls get a well inflated 2.5 in easy enough. as for bearings i beleive they are guaranteed for life and are pretty agricultural.

I have an 04 Coiler Deelux as my main ride, I am not that fit and bought it on the premise that its tough as phuck, plenty of travel, and will cope with the modest drops i attempt. It's neither light or elegant but works well with a Van rc shock and you can always spec some light ish robust wheelset to offset the porkiness of the frameset with that price.
i've used it for 12 hour races as its a bit of a skill compensator when you're buggered at 4 in the morning and making poor line choices!
    just my 2 cents.
