the only cool car my dad ever had was a farnham bodied Mk IV Zephyr estate. in maroon!

did NZ to UK this time last year with the 18 month old slimtubling, was a nightmare TBH but that was because she wanted to run the length of the plane every 15 mins. we were at the bulkhead seats and got a bassinet but she was too tall for it so we just used it for storage for all the associated crap that goes with small kids. Getting t o the point of all this the other family on the other side of the aisle had a 4 month old who kipped almost the whole trip, too young to be mobile and small enough to fit in the bassisnet comfortably.they had a much less stressful trip than us!! just take care of your wee one in shifts and you'll be fine, i found the cabin staff magnificently helpful especially on the homeward trip (we flew emirates)

Still waiting for news of the Oz tour, will make the Melbourne gig and Auckland obviously if the come over the ditch. Clogs long gone due to a catastrophic attic clearout by my dad.
My first serious relationship was in 1991 with a beautiful little german punk chick called Nikki, she was evrything i ever wanted in a girlfriend, while we were going out her bi-polar tendencies started to surface but I worked like crazy to keep her +ve.
After living over in east Stuttgart for 12 amazing months I headed back to Scotalnd and She checked herself into a clinic. She came out a completely different character and almost immediatly married some **** who used smack. She had a daughter to him but quickly divorced and seemed to be getting on with life she sent me a very unusual little letter in about 95 and I heard no more from her until a friend from a nearby village to hers sent me an email to say she had hung herself leaving a 6 year old child pretty much alone in the world.
i was utterly gobsmacked and wish i could have done more way back when. She was a gem.

did 8 hours hard graft in the noble profession of bar person, gto home fed n bathed slimtubling major while my wife fed the insatiable slimtubing minor (11 days old now) went out at 8.30 and gave a talk to expectant fathers on the terrors on new parenthood. Got home and fondled my bottle of Glen Garioch 8 yor old but decided broken sleep and large malts do not have any place in my day for the next 12 weeks.
