try these guys.. they are quite cheap

6 month turnaround last 2 times I used them

Thankfully this injury is new to this hip – so I should be covered by work private healthcare scheme this time.

Man.. I am never googling ‘hip pain’ again. Turns out I have everything wrong with me and need multiple probes inserted. ‘frequent ejaculation’ being a best course of treatment though. Every cloud.

Guilty as charged of no longer carrying out strengthening exercises.

Weird thing is, the pain in my left hip came on suddenly during a period in time of my best fitness and least heavy state, hence reluctance to put this episode down to having put weight on.

yes, there must be something out there fit for purpose?

Most industrial garages i’ve seen have a super hard wearing finish.

    Sweet.
The screwfix paint looks just the job for the floor.

Hadn’t considered floor tiles but may look into sourcing a job lot.

Ceiling will be getting the same make over treatment. Then I shall be hanging my retro cycling banners and drawing around my tools like any good mechanic would.

Is it weird as a grown man to hanker after a red painted garage floor?

Surely i should desire more interesting things. Like Dip-Dabs and spokey-dokeys?

How many litres of floor paint did you get through simon_g?

    My garage is approx 20ft x 9ft

I heard this week about a paint available in homebase or some-such, called ‘Dead Salmon’

    Could be just the job

That’s a lot of bike.. that lefty fork still freaks me out though………… but I’ve never tried one…

Single sided forks and swingarms are good enough for 200kg+ plus motorbikes – they are plenty good for 30kg bicycles.

I bet a guy at Uni £20 to ride back & forward to Uni on it every day until Easter…

    That’ll learn him.

Re longboard, will continuously accelerate downhill, and won’t go uphill unless you have thighs like Sir Hoy.

Yes scooters look quite daft, interesting to me that a site which promotes men riding children’s toys is quite so scornful though

What’s the most I should pay for a new pair?

Seeing XT sets at £90 and SLX around £75 which seems bonkers. Must be worth bobbins 2nd hand?

I last saw Steve in 94 I think during a Blackhawks v Canadians series at Wembley. He gave a me a signed stick after the match which now hangs on my sons bedroom wall.
Previous to that I saw him play in LA back in 87 whilst playing for the Oilers. He introduced me to Gretsky after the match, a great memory. I was taller than him aged 10!

I remember playing NHL 95 on the mega drive against my friends after school, and I always used to win the fist fights with Steves character. Seems he was quite a tough nut 🙂

He told me that when he was drafted from Glasgow aged 18, he was a skinny streak at 6’4″, they essentially locked him in a gym and fed him all sorts for a year and he turned out a BSH.

I don’t claim to know much about NHL, but my cousin won something like 4 Stanley Cups. Not bad for a Glaswegian (Steve Smith)

For me, it was confirmation that Mr Ridley is in steady decline and will never make another great movie.

    Soundtrack/terrible, tension/non-existent, casting/awful, script/rediculous.

Tedious affair which lacked real tension and thin character development. Had so much potential to be a truly lonely and harrowing (for the right reasons) experience – but created an atmosphere as thin as that on the Red Planet.

I ended up saying Maaaaat Daaaaaamon repeatedly instead, to entertain myself.

Anyone got any more feedback on the shock performance? Noticing any difference over a standard ‘push’ shock?

It looks quite a chunky shock, does it protrude much either side of the frame?

Its the cheapest price online, and up close it has some really nice details (seat stay interface/dropouts/disc mount etc).
Was considering a Shan but think the Eccentric is well worth a look, nice and long too. 20mm longer than my 456b (35+mm effective in fact).

Have also been wishing for a further 10% discount but stock is running low and i’ll kick myself if I miss out on a black one in my size.

Im buying it in lieu of not giving in to a Trigger! 🙂

Yeah just called Hope – they recommended NDS spacer (black) HUB463, and DS spacer (silver) HUB471

I think the drive side spacer differs for 12mm axle pending if you are running Shimano or Sram freehub – there are certainly several other spacer options available.
HUB471 isn’t even listed in the blown diagram on their tech site:

http://www.hopetech.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/ProIIEVORearExploded.pdf based on that diagram I would’ve bought HUB462 had I not called.

Man i’m getting so confused with the XD/Pro2 axle/spacer arrangement.

Can someone tell me exactly what I need to convert the Pro2 Evo (40T) hub to run the 142×12 axle – with XD driver ?

I think I need a 12mm drive side end cap straight onto the existing axle – but does it also require an XD specific spacer?

Also, does the non drive side need a different end cap? (assume so) – sorry for the dumdum Q’s

    cheers euain.

Can anyone confirm what Nemesis posted? or if my suspicion is correct in 45650b headset being perfect for Rev/Eccentric?

    From Eccentric:
”Fork Compatibility: standard 1-1/8” or tapered 1.5 – 1-1/8” steerer tubes (forks with taper 1.5 – 1-1/8” steerer tubes can fit ZS44/44 headtube using special headsets with external lower cup (FSA Orbit ITA-A, ITA-B, Cane Creek XX44)”

    From On-One:
”Head Set – FSA Orbit ITA Headset / 1.5″ Lower With 1 1/8″ Upper / Black / Lower External With Upper Integrated”

Oh yeah, I’m running an XD driver.. hope this doesn’t stuff the end cap availability/fitment (?)..

    Cool, thanks.

And yes, I was thinking it was just a pair of end caps required as an axle is already included.

Anyone have any issues with running an Evo2 in this set up?
I’m probably wrong, but I think I read somewhere that there were some issues with this hub, I assume whilst running these end caps.

Oh yeah, the headset states ”Semi integrated Zero Stack (ID 44mm)”
    I currently run a 46550b – which claims 44mm headtube, running ”1.5″ Lower With 1 1/8″ Upper”
Is this a straight swap?.. (i’ll be running the tapered Rev that came with the 45650b)

EDIT – seems the 45650 runs an FSA Orbit ITA, which is the recommended headset for the Eccentric. Bingo! In fact, looks like every component is a straight swap, minus the hub end caps. Well happy with that.

IMO its been the best series for ages. Some really interesting locations and super scaled builds. Plus Uncle Kev has turned his swagger charm up to 11.
Still beats 95% of other telly.

    Yep!
Essentially I want to utilise an open area, by butting the wardrobe up against 2 walls (into a corner) , and building a stud wall on the other ‘side’ to clearly differentiate the space.
Essentially, I don’t want the exposed side of the wardrobe to be a bare carcass.. I want to see wall.
The stud wall would also act as a kind of corridor into the main area of the bedroom. Where the magic happens.
