I’ll rise to that one. No. the bike should built within the next few weeks. If after 11 months I happened to still have it boxed and unused, I would likely feel less agreived by a price drop – what with nearly a year passing. Of course I’d still be within rights to return thanks to this stonking return programme. But I’d be surprised if stock were available by that point. (Asides from my returned item of course..)

That’s all well and good if you’ve have £4000/£5000 knocking around for essentially a few tubes and couple bits of rubber.
The cycling industry inflated their prices massively over recent years as the cycling trend kicked off. way ahead of standard inflation.

RRP in cycling terms is nuts, look at what Pauls cycles discounts can do to turn around a profit – they’ve been in business for donkeys.
IMO RRP is the industry squeezing the consumer for as much as they can, I have no issue with the consumer squeezing back occasionally.

It is a shame to see LBS potentially suffer as a result. I assume lots of them are still doing ok on the strength of their service – as I still see lots of LBS in business.

I know what you mean, and I have nearly clicked the button on the grey version but it’s really just quite an awful looking paint scheme, IMO. Plus I’ve always loved raw frames, seems like a no brainier to wait. Just need the bloody thing to fit!
