I disagree. I think to bimble is a state of mind.

I have actually tried for years to become a bit more gnar, I’ve tried training courses, flash new gear, better tyres, elbow pads.
I always revert to bimbling. Less is more.

It was a matter of days between publicly admitting illness and dying. I think it was because a tabloid was going to run the story so he chose to beat them to it

I watched the tribute concert on TV whilst staying in Amsterdam for a couple of weeks as a 13yo.
Holland is a great place to watch TV as a 13yo.

Anyways, yeah, superlatives were made for performers like Freddie. I distinctly remember the pre-match show at Nou-camp Euro cup final 99, they played ‘Barcelona’ full blast with Montserrat Caballe singing her part from an open top car driving around the stadium – Was magic – felt like Freddie was there in the stadium.

Who has a brewery on their local bimble? I do.

So, brewery bimble to collect half a dozen favourite IPA’s, via the butchers for a scotch egg (£2.50ea but once you’ve tried one you know where your money went) – then back via the local castle ruins to take in the view and savour the pork goodness.
    Is that the ultimate bimble?

Weird how I ended up disliking TG, and its 3 stooges – but found GT to be fresher and more entertaining.

Like others, im not sure the new track is up to much – time will tell. I sure was bored of the old one though.
And im also confident that some of the following episodes will have superb moments in them.

I thought I was King Fussybritches but it appears im a mere knave

Make it a large, and about a grand cheaper, and i’ll take it. Lovely bike. IMO you should stick it away for a time in the future that the bike bug comes back.

PSA for Dune owners – I just picked up an El Guapo Stallion stem which comes in a handy 7 degree rise, helping to lift the slightly low front end on the Dune – for the princely sum of £8 in the current clearance sale.
I actually considered one of these at full RRP of £38 quid a few weeks ago as they are nicely made and the rise is rare on a shorter stem. Then I decided i’d rather shove wasps up my arse than give O-O £38 for a stem.

They also have the coloured floaters down to £13 again. At that price im almost intreagued to see if its possible to turn MORE heads.

The world has gone mad, but not THAT mad.

Farrage is an embarrassment with none of the required skills – intellect, wisdom, tact, subtelty and diplomacy.

I’m mystified as to how you came to that conclusion

It’s the way he talks to people. He gives them a false sense of security, they open up because ‘hey, im talking with the great Leno!’ – then he either cuts them off mid sentence or ignores every word they’ve said in order to give yet another dull quip/analogy of his own.

Like I said, I like his collection – kudos for him for earning the millions required to procure/maintain – I just find him a bit thrush.

I loved the way they dimissed a pivotal plot change with the words ‘just kids watching too much telly’

When I say loved, I mean hated.

    MINOR SPOILER ALERT

Just came back from this tonight, MrsSlim loved it and cried, I expected to cry but the emotional impact went completely over my head.
Think i was expecting something very different and didn’t like the actual outcome. Although top marks to them for trying something different within the genre. My suspension of disbelief was upheld for most of the movie (rare).

I actually feel a bit uncomfortable with how they tried to pull on my family heartstrings – without giving me any chance of a happy ending. I normally like a good tragedy too.

if you want a show about cars Jay Leno’s Garage on Dave is worth watching.

I got addicted to that show for a short while, it has some serious machinery in it. But I quickly came to realise that Leno is more arrogant and odious than a bucket full of Jezzas.

And speaking of ‘I can’t relate to the super car content’ … try watching Leno’s batty face tell you how many cars he owns, how much he paid and how much they’re worth now..

I can’t get my head around the people complaining that it’s a bit familiar.

It’s the same presenters as TG. That right there IS the formula.

It’s an entertainment show based loosely on a passion for cars, with 3 guys messing about.

What part of the formula do you actually want them to change?

It’s now ‘on tour’ with the show being pitched around the world. IMO that’s a pretty good start to freshen things up.

They’ve removed SIRPC section, again, thats positive.

The camera work is superb. The gags feel a bit less BBC. These are good things.

If you want car focused factual telly, watch Plato and Tiff or some other paint drying show – TGT is looking to be top entertainment for an hour per week.
