If this chap wants a quick blast after work then Richmond Park is about the best bet for any kind of prolonged off road/trail type riding.

plus condensation forms on the inside of the (bare) steel seat tube.

Why do you think most frames rot at the bottom of the seat tube first? It doesn’t take a flood, just a steady supply of damp – and a few years.

have had same symptoms for the last few days and had a gentle-ish ride out last night for 1 hour, but planned a 10k run for tonight due to half marathon training (7 weeks left).

Felt like I needed to man up and hit the 10k tonight depsite only feeling 70% fit, but sat it out just incase.
