    SINGLESPEED!!!!

totally agree with the BB7 comment above too, if you want hassle free.

I do have sympathy with OP though, I can fix just about anything on a bike and have the tools to do so but it takes so much time to get a bike dialled in properly and keep it there.

Never looked back since going dedicated s/s earlier this year. Plus im fitter. Bliss.
Got 81 gears in the garage not doing anything!

Edit: hate the comparison though, I think it’s useless

    Agreed.

Especially when Stones were better. :D

But seriously, The Beatles stood for something else. And are great in their own right, and its a personal decision.

I dont agree with the ‘the Stones never experimented’ comment though.
They took blues, added rock, then went satanic, then gospel, tried a bit of folk, then went raw, then went pop… etc etc.

They even made their own Sgt Pepper with Satanic Majesty!

But there I go again, making comparisons..

All I know is that I never get tired of listening to Stones.
Its stripped down, raw, sexy and rocks.

    Long live Mick & Keef

everyone knows Lennon wished he was a rolling stone.

& Mr Kite cannot be listened to repeatedly without driving you insane.

Stones can be played on repeat and still sound like raw sex after 100 years..

are they all suited to running tubeless, even the thinner walled evo’s?

nwo you come to mention it NED, I managed to split a RR sidewall..
still loved the tyre though (during the summer)

oh, and which of their range is best suited for winter use, but not too heavy?
I fancy running tubeless, and nice’n’wide (2.4 probably). I want as much grip for steep uphill blasts as poss

BB7’s are £ for £ the best disc brake available, period.

If they made a lighter version with the same power (and shrunk the big daft red wheel, then they would take over the world.

ok, have read the stan’s link and am much more clued up, thanks!

last thing, how exactly does the sealant physically prevent future punctures?
is it always in a wet state?
how often does it require topping up?

I personally use older Schwalbes, have about 5 sets, all will go straight up with a track pump and stay up.

njee, do you always use sealant on your schwalbes?

in fact one thing im not clear on, is sealant always required on tubeless ready, non-tubless & tubeless tyres?

If so, what is the best recommended sealant?
Stans kits sound great, but are pricey.
I have been saving up tubeless ready tyres and valves but havent taken the plunge yet.
Only time I ran tubeless I got a split on a flint track, sealant everywhere but no seal. Id love to go tubeless and eliminate punctures like others seem to manage.

one other thing, im a heavier rider and tend to run at around 50psi on tubes, im worried about mashing my rims at the recommended 40psi when going tubeless, or at least ‘burping’ more air when cornering – is this normally an issue for big riders going tubeless?

splash a little bit more an an Esky Lama V3.

4 channel so very manouverable, but not too complicated to learn. 2.4ghz radio so zero inteference, and you can pimp virtually every part with upgrades. Can be flown inside or out on calm days.
    Great fun.

keep going untill you get to the labrynth (its about 3 climbs/decents, the last is called the wall and barely climbable).

is that really ‘the wall’ at the end of that long fire road?
surely not?, I got up it on my single speed on monday.

back to the OP, I too would love small signs around the forest as i can only find 3 or 4 of the trails on a good day. I even take a laminated map over and still manage to get lost!

Yup, saw a girl ‘sitting’ on her fella’s lap the other night. She was quite fidgetty.

Also came upon an owl, big bugger, sitting on a rock at the very top of a hill I just climbed. I stopped about 20ft from him shining in my light. He looked at me as if to say ”yeah?.. do one!” then flew off casually.

Brian our dog did not have these and would literally stick two fingers up at you if you told him to do anything!

I would love to have seen this.

Brian is the greatest name ever for a dog. Beats mine, Dave.

My mate (teenage son of the owner) hit it one day, it buggered off for a couple of minutes, had a think about it, then came back and bit him.

Made me laugh out loud that did

I love EBT’s, ever since first seeing Bill’s dog on Oliver!
They are so fugly that they go full circle in my eyes, and end up proper handsome.
But then ive always loved fugly things, cars, bikes, my wife..

I love the 3 spellings of burgh in one statement.

Amsterdam is inspirational when it comes to public transport and bikes, it would be very difficult to convert a huge city like london into a similar system but id support any movement!

weirdly, I found my 11 shifted worse under load than my 8, despite meticulous setting up of both.
I preffered the 8 despite being dead keen to try the 11.
11 has the best shitfer though, unless you go for a J-Tek unit.

    I kept niether.
