    Hey fellas/girls

Seems the sticks pass and seldom seen look a cracking descent.

So looking for a route that’s around 20miles or so, that can involve the above. Probably aimed to start at glenridding (but that could change if required)

Some gpx routes so the lads can put into garmins would be great thanks

Turner used to be right up there at the top but managed to drop off a cliff face almost instantaneous a short while back.

I’ve always had a great response from David turner with any questions and after sales, having said that. None of my past and current turner bikes ever/have required warranty issues.
So perhaps that’s a good sign

I had a gx eagle mech. It was awful. I was given the new ridged jockey wheel which helped. But ultimately get what you pay for.

Ive upgraded to the XO1 and its great.  I was given  the new ridged jockey wheels by sram whilst at ardrock.  So maybe get in touch with them direct

Having watched weller from Leeds to Chicago over the years.  He has consistently written good music, all the while adapting to new styles and also his age.  He his now in his sixties, so therefore cannot be expected to leaping around the stage knocking out Peacock suit, changingman, from the floorboards up, brushed   Etc etc for two hours

the new music is reflective of life as it is today

I’ve got SRAM Eagle gx on my new hardtail.  It’s dreadful.

Swapped the mech for a XO one, as it can actually shift through all the gears

im still not convinced though, as the cranks creak despite all methods of tightening an re greasing.

May go go back to 11 speed  as it just works

Pedal cover are spot on. Plus backed by a reputable underwriter,

only have to name my most expensive bike on policy. My others are covered with purchase information, pics, spec lists etc.

House is also fully covered for usual issues

What’s the alternative. Rockguradz don’t stock them for my flux carbon.  They don’t have the shape of the frame. …..?

I’ve got sixth element on my bikes. A top  wheelset, mine are unfazed both on my mountain and gravel bike and they both get some hammer in the Yorkshire hills, and Peak District,

graham at sixth element is a great guy to deal with. In fact he has loaned me a set of his own wheels for the last three months until my new set are complete. ( an issue with hubs from the USA). So to me that’s decent customer service

besides. How many people ride that hard to even get to the level of Danny mckaskill riding down a set of steps multiple times without tyres ,To test wheels to breaking point  ?

    not many I suspect.

My evil sovereign mk 1 is over ten years old and is still as up to date as any hardcore hardtail around.

    Hey.  Mine started to creak.

I replaced the bearings.  I ordered the correct ones from Westbrook cycles. Superb to deal with.  I cleaned bottom bracket up and re greased the bottom bracket    And spot on now

Knocked old ones out and made my own bearing press from m12 threaded bar and the bits from a park tools bearing drift set.

you will also require a special tool from Cannondale to remove the cranks. Silly Cannondale invention.  (Parts only amount to paying a bike shop to do all the work)

    hope me that helps

    Lanzarote.
Got a spot there. It’s fab. Plenty to do and see or just relax. Peurto del carmen to stay in.
Playa chica beach is great wIth the harbour to jump into the sea. Plus a great restraunt for lunch
Old town has great tapas locals bar at the top

Car hire is dirt cheap. Take a trip to el golfo for seafood in the volcanic area of the island. Also. Cafe el mirador at The village of Femes is fantastic rustic scran. The view to playa Blanca is unreal, not to mention the best beer of Estrella

Plus a lot of guided bike rides if ya fancy.

In regards to showers. Buy one of those solar showers at a camping shop. Let it heat up in your tent all day, then hang it from a tree/ van and your good. No fuss

If stans recommends not using Co2 as it reacts with the sealant. Could you not get the tyre onto the bead using soapy water to help seat the tyre. When it’s on you can remove the valve core and pour sealant in there. Use a regular track pump to get to desired pressure.

I have a slight creaking from from bottom bracket area. So I presume it will be a bearing issue. I’ve been told it could be the spider on chainring.
I’m trying to do repairs for my self now I have more spare time
