I’m up the mora I’ll let you know. Can probably guarantee slop even on the man made but it still rides well. Be prepared if you go on the Facebook page and ask about the weather to be ridiculed! A lot of the off piste runs will be slop city but it’s all still fun

Roads are clear, just be careful of ice. And if you ride oddsox be carefull of an unbreakable puddle of ice!

Chopwell this morning which turned out to be quite sheltered. Its wet in summer though so knee deep bog fest was the order of the day. Brilliant ride, especially watching my mate place utmost faith in a dirty dan & absolutely flying down a sheer face of mud. Twas a sight to behold 😯
Shoes may never dry again, front mechs bent somehow ( 😳 ) and brakes are howling like banshees. Bloody mint ride. Aint bikes great 😆

Up early in the long gone summer, decide upon Reeth for a cheeky jaunt before family duties. Throw everything into the car and arrive at 7am.
Can’t find helmet, o well I’ll bimble along the river. Can’t find front wheel and its too early for the dales bike centre.

Just finished The Long War series, Terry Pratchett / Stephen Baxter collaberation. Found it a bit meh to be honest. Wanted to like it as a Pratchett fan but still got a few discworld books to hit yet.
Now reading The Republic of Thieves by Scott Lynch. Third part of Locke Lamora series and loving it.
Also loved The Martian as above and also hope the film doesn’t ruin it.

It certainly wasn’t an error. There’s a page saying “ever get the feeling you’re missing someting.” Then basically tells you to subscribe. If they’ve made the pages available it’s because they’ve tried it on I reckon and been caught out

1st time on wood for me today as well.loved it.did the red and a bit play in the park.hired a remedy from alpine bikes,normally ride a hard tail.need to buy a full suss now!!
cracking weather,bit of rain bit of wind but its january so really cana complain!
normally ride at hamsterley so the climbing hurt but gave plenty of time for photos!winter’s took its toll.
couple of diversions due to fallen trees but one takes you down berm baby berm which i would have missed but its awesome!super fast just let it run.cana wait to go back

a swear down it were my most enjoyable ride in ages!watching my mate go totally sideways on the roots but managing to stay on was mint until i hit the same roots…. took a while to unclench a tells ye ❗

i’ve noticed i can’t judge distance when its a flashing light only so i would say use 2 lights, one flashing one constant. granted that may be just me getting old!

gunnerside gill sat.clarty as hell and loved it.strava informed me we did Kitch’s broken chain and electric gate.also found out that tryin t keep up with an orange five is hard work on a hard tail
