don’t ditch breakfast!!
your body needs the food intake in the morning to kickstart your metabolism … though 4 weetabix is a hell of a breakfast .. 2 would be better.
keep exercising and eat normally …. starving your body of carbs isn’t good if your exercising.

I’m 5’9″ and ride a small(2009) …. they are 17.5″ and with a layback seatpost & 90mm stem feels perfect for both up & down. Did have a medium but found it didn’t live up to my stumpjumper when climbing (I know the stumpy was less travel) but the 17.5,small does.
Must say on the decent’s I had an Intense 5.5 EVP that was amazing ….. often regret getting rid of it. Evolution Imports sometimes have crazy offers on …. I got my small 575 new for £699. Nothing on there at the moment but something may come up towards the end of the season.
5.5 EVP’s sometimes come up on here or ebay for fairly cheap prices ….. great bike. Mine was a medium @ 19″ ….. strange I know but they are pretty short reach wise.
….. love my 575 though great trail bike and light enough for all day.

just dont do a Wally and ride with your ‘bits exposed’ :lol:

thanks Gary ….. figured the servicing would be tricky but then so is the headshok.
Did a bit of an enduro today … Taurine was great, especially uphill but on the hardpack it shook me to bits …. think I might seriously look into the lefty.

on a chocky brown 456 ….. 140mm forks, wide bars and ‘road tyres’ ……. looks ridiculous and weighs slightly less than my car …….
I’ve been training mostly on rides to work fueled by beer & crisps.
If I can get off at the front it will be a bloody miracle and I’ll be aiming for cardiac arrest ….. but I do enjoy these things and its great to feel the ‘buzz’.

nickegg yep your right I have changed the description … to make it more honest, the lockout doesn’t work at all and never did.

neninja – you have a good point … its never been a concious descision .. just selling stuff takes a number of days to receive payment, then post etc and ‘contributing to STW’ doesn’t always pop back into my head … but you are right and I will rectify this tonight.

nickegg – Forks have sold for £105 … after postage that could leave me with a whole £3 profit …….. think I’ll retire!!

they had got a bit gunked up on the outside . didn't think it could have got inside as well …… will try opening it up and giving it a good clean. Hopefully it will do the trick and there hasn't been any damage.

around 68 miles per day …… hhhmmmmm. I suppose it depends on the terrain. We've done a few marathons, one being 85 miles off road but these will be back to back. Still, great challenge though!!
