Sunday timed loop (one start, one finish).

The Sport enduro on Sunday is exactly the same as Saturday, 6 stages each individually timed. The only difference is its more of a laid back race, less focus on timings more of a ride out with mates.

The AM challenge (one start, one finish) as it was named previous years has been dropped.

I’ve recently had a new crash replacement helmet through Specialized and like tillydog said its 40% off the value of the tactic II that you had (they’ll use the £55 RRP) If you replace it like for like then a new one will cost you £33. If you want something more expensive then you’ll get £22 off.

I didn’t bother emailing them, took the damaged helmet to my local concept store and swapped it there and then, they asked if I had a receipt and I told them I might still have it at home, but they weren’t too bothered about seeing it.

Thanks all. That’s a few ideas for me to look into a bit more over the weekend. At the moment it’s looking like I’ll take the Hardtail and go and explore the Salter Fell area.

It’s only a 20km practice loop. To cut off the distance after stage one you won’t climb back up The Edge, you’ll take a new path along the stream to the end of stage 2. Then you’ll completely miss the stage 3 up and down and head to stage 4. After 4 is over you’ll take a new path back down into Langthwaite and come out by the Red Lion pub, then from there it’s about 5/6km back down the road to the campsite.

Be careful buying the Deore front and rear set from CRC, I made the mistake of not reading the description properly.

When buying the set the hoses are 740mm/1300mm and when you buy them individually the hoses are 1000mm/1700mm.

Cheers, it looked like the bigger size would be needed but best to check before I hit the buy button.
