Hi Jedi, there is no 'cheaper' offering when considering Leasing or Buying. You need to work out a 'Whole Life Cost' (capital outlay, servicing, depreciation etc) for your transport which should give you a monetary guide on which method is cheaper. Then you need to consider what value you put on things like 'How important is it for my business to budget' or 'How important is it for me to own my own vehicle if circumstances change'. cheers all, looks like the maxxis certainly has more of a following for trail centre style riding. I had an Advantage on the rear but it gripped too much then let go all of a sudden which isnt what I am used to. Think I'll be going for a fast roller that has predictable sliding so looking so far to be a set of High Rollers :-) I think I was just looking for the STW reassurance before I step out of my comfort zone and also blow £40!

It was on the downtube where the bike mounted carrier clamp goes. It would have either made a mess on the gloss black paint or come loose when clamped. Now its a smelly shade of yellow :lol:

Good point about the majority of people on here, lots of very good likeminded personalities that wouldnt dream of ripping somebody off. I guess just like society there's always going to be a few. Hi Tijuana Taxi. I see your thread had some involvement from all and I've got to agree with you about people that just use the classified forum. It would take some setting up but then I feel the forum(s) would turn into a safer place. I think whatever the rules the persistant numpties would find a way around them. Crikey Cheesyfeet, thats a thread and a half!! Whist given the same result, buyer out of pocket and no item, I feel I'm off worst as I havent even any comms from the guy. Cheers, have read a thousand "what tyres threads" but have never used spesh's tyres. Only ever used weight weenie xc tyres and now have changed to only trail centres and bought a stumpjumper fsr and in need of some new rubber! Any spesh tyre recommendations?

I wont go into the full story, timescales and useless telephone reps regarding some very much needed forks seal kits. But the result was very simple. I now will NEVER use JEJ again. There are many more companies that have the right attitude and work hard towards providing an excellent customer experience that deserve your hard earned cash.
