Good shout folks, sounds like it could be another tool for the box! I'll try the 'try before I buy method from the lbs'. Always good to support them. Just wanted to be sure before I open the hubs up.

Have you the wave spring washer installed, also worth looking to see if your fsa crank is compat with your fsa bb. Unlike shimano, fsa have incompatabilty accross their own range.

Does your model have a crank bolt and pinch bolt set up on the FSA's?

I'd rather spend the £20 and get the proper kit. Its your suspension and frame here. Save the few pounds elsewhere.

Cheers Splash-man, just need to be sure as I say. I cant imagine ebay getting involved technically if I need to raise a not as described case.

BTW – can anybody tell me their A to C length of their 140 floats? Would help considerably!! :-)

Call SMB in Oxfordshire on 01993-842555 – They do every bearing and deliver same day, oh and they take paypal too so there's no need to register/swap credit card details etc.

Was able to do this before the changes on flickr, used to click show all sizes and simply cut and paste. Now its asking me to share file and grab the html code. Any help please?

Genuine replies pls? I'm hearing great things about the Hope Hoops package but are they as good Mavic's factory wheels?

I'm just after some real advice as to which is the better value. No special wheels needed just listing more info to help gauge similar experiences. I really cant decide?

I keep seeing an ebay business selling stumpjumper frames without shocks and rockers etc. I think they called totalfitness (do quick search for specialized and sort by distance). If you are in Bristol I think they're not too far. They may have some lying around as they seem to have all sort of stuff (guessing warranty returns)! Good luck.

Cheers all, just didnt want to pay the money and see the seller laugh all the way to the bank!! They're not done by Jones but are done very well. I think I'll have em, dont think I would have the balls to take an angle grinder to a set of XTR's, let alone the hours of finishing. Lovely!

new style XT brakes are notorious for this, especially the rear brake. A few threads have been on here about the same issue. I had the same problem put persisted with the 'air in the system cause'. Eventually took the brake off and bled it with the hose vertical. Sorted now finally after about three attempts. Good luck, when they work you'll be well impressed!!

The three Attitudes I have owned have all had 31.6's. I've never known them to use any other diameter.
