Mine turned up yesterday, got it out the box and it’s covered from head to toe in some sort of dried contaminant. Looks like it’s been in a bukkake video. Email to Wiggle. Hopefully get sorted soon.

Could I also mount the chainring on the other side? Where my bash guard mounted on my double cranks?

    Its beaten me…….almost!!
I’ve changed the rim tapes today, re-checked every spoke, put a little powder between the tyre and tube only and its still doing it. Went down to my LBS bought another pair of new tyres fitted them and its stopped. Never in all my time has this ever happened. Perhaps I have been able to find an incompatible pairing of rim and tyre. Two sets of Panaracers = Noise from hell, but a pair of Schwalbes = bliss!! Still cant work it out though, maybe I didn’t have the tyre logos aligned with the valves :)

Checked for water, although the sound is a definate rubber sound. Pressured up to 55psi and still doing it. Taken back off and rims all straight and true. Tyres are directional and the right way. Weird!!

It’s worth a go. Cheers. I may change the rim tape whilst I’m at it.

Possibly air, the rims aren’t tubeless though. It’s loud. Just can’t understand how to fix it.

And we asked for a copy of the quote and this was never seen

funnily enough they when my daughter said she could not afford that quote they offered to pay for it and she could pay her back. Who does that? The issue currently is she didn’t get her details including reg so I can’t check if she’s insured. Can’t understand why she didn’t take photos, she takes photos of her bloody food :)

Nice1 thanks. Was it around the same era as the original Hope Mini’s with the silver numbered calipers?

Anyone been out to Westwoods Wiltshire over the last day or two, looking to head out that way this bank holiday weekend?

Thanks Guys, perhaps I should budget for an aerial to be fitted. The Freesat enabled TVs are usually about £30-50 more on spec. How much approx to run a cable down the side of the house from the roof?

What about removing the external locks altogether and just having the holes filled and painted? Assuming your car has remote central locking.( if you do this always keep a spare key fob battery handy)

Fantastic 2nd race. And an unbelievable SSP!! The big question is, is Melandri’s Mrs gonna be back on?

Tech rules – must use road throttle bodies. So Honda, MV, Kawasaki will have four cylinders at all times as opposed to split throttle. I would have thought that would make them spend more on electronics to keep traction no?

Is the knotting treatment thin, will that need a light sand too (never used it before)?

Be careful testing it though, it wont recognise stationary objects like tailbacks on the motorway. Its most effective when following a car coming to a stop. It will brake to 0mph and its weird! If it needs to apply FULL braking power it will assume pre-crash and alert you in every way possible, unknown to a few it will also open or close your windows to an inch of fully closed to allow for the air movement when the airbags goes off. Its a great system.

HD not vitally important but the box only has scart and hdmi output. I could move the box over to the other side of the room nearer the TV but I would then have cables running up the wall, on the side of the room it sits now the cable could run up to the loft inside a built in wardrobe hidden. I’ll prob have a look at some long hdmi cables and check out the specs.

Thanks all, surprised to see there isn’t something widely available with the onset of smart TVs. I guess my only other option will be a very very long hdmi cable but this will have to be at least 45 ft long. Would I still get a signal over that length?

Thanks everyone, fantastic recommendations. STW hive mind strikes again. I must admit, it’s very tempting to go a full on installation as you do

Thanks km79, I understand. Would it be possible to have the nib on the other side of the wall (an external nib) so the dining room wall can be seamless?

Cheers Rockhopper, whats a nib? And is the bulkhead the bit currently above the existing patio doors?

    Thanks everyone.

Rockhopper im in Swindon. Just about to load a picture, hopefully its an easy one to answer. Essentially I want to remove the yellow section so the dining room has seamless walls into the extended part. Single storey extension with a normal lean-to tiled roof, all using standard building materials. Extension about 3 x 2.4m.

hmmmm, lots of food for thought. Thanks for the options all, and the offer evh22 (Im in the SWest which is a shame). He’s 5ft and his current cheapy 24’er has a 14″ frame and he’s getting very very confident on it. Think I might take the plunge on a 13″ 26er and keep things light and simple. 152mm cranks, 30t 1×9, short stem and some choice grips! Will post pics when up and running. He’s well excited just talking about it ( a bit like the grown-ups I guess)

Great advice guys – thanks. Never thought about crank length tbh. And yes letting him help build it makes it even more special. Brilliant – off to search for an XSframe. Cheers all.
