Gorillas ftw, if nothing but for their excellent customer service and detailed knowledge of their products and effects. Got an actual callback within minutes of an email and great chat about the specifics of my set up.
Actual pads work geeat too of course!

Would a carbon bike with panniers be a concern regarding load weight in general or am i overthinking things! Chances are ill be using it mainly for just a rough rural road/occasional bridelway bike with the occasional bikepack and asperations for a bit of touring! I reckon 90/5/5 split.
Obs, 2 bikes would be better but only got capacity for one really (plus proper bike that is of course)

The kenisis is very nice but too pricey for me.
I like the look of the tifosi ifni can find one on offer as well.
Merlin Malt was another thought as well but not sure its going to be a bit boring for the road ride wise.
Im on a 58cm spec diverge smartweld 2015 currently but ive had enough of the ceeaking pressfit bb and stupid rear wheel spacing.

The mason is a lovely bike but out of my price range and im a 58-60cm in most road bikes but thanks for the interest!

Ill take a look at the sonder as an option.

The warlock looks like a bit too far offroad as mist of my miles in this bike would be road/rough lanes.

Back from an enjoyable trip despite the crippling cramp halfway through! Needess than 6 coffees before starting i think.
Did cafell first finishimg using pedalhounds dh then back up twrch.
Preferred twrch despite being in a little pain as deffinatley more flow and longer descents will go again soon and explore some of the signposted offpiste stuff nearish the end of twrch as looked nice and steep.
Was -2 when we started but surprisingly ok once going!

@letmetalktomark , did you size up with these. My northwave celcius gtx 11 have been pretty waterproof but even with a size up have still given me numb feet when the temp drops below 8c! Got to be my wide feet as the big and little toes touch the out and inside of the boots.
I would cycle more from now on if i knew i could keep the pain away!

Ive bought a second hand lever and brake but the hose is too short for my bike, hence need to get a new longer one. The banjo fitting at the caliper end is pre fitted only as far as i can tell hence why i cant just buy hose and fittings separately

I had found those links too but they only state for guide and not code. Do you think there is any difference at all?

I’ll try and alloy bolt first and see if thst makes a difference.
Too old for warranty I would imagine as I think they its only 12 months and I’ve had them for longer.
Any alloy bolt from ebay do or is there one thst works better than others?

The nice people at radon have just got back to me and said they will send some out foc. Can’t complain at that!

Tha is all for the responses. Very frustrated as coming to put the steatstay bolts back in and they wont go. Looks like they must have ever so slightly been squashed and with new bearings they wont go! Radon are out of bolts too. Anyone know if there is anywhere else to get them?

I noticed that there are plastic washers on either side of the bearing too. Any idea where you can get those as one has split

Thanks all for your advice, I’m mid forties for reference.
Saddle is mid position on the rails but seatpost is slight playback so might try this first.
Current stem is 100mm, I have a 70mm stem somewhere that I might try also.
Failing that I’m going to a physio i reckon and when possilbe somewhere that can advise on set up in person (when available)

I’ve read that its 12 speed specific as the 12 speed chain is different?

Is the 2.6 a bit tight in the fork clearance? Looks pretty big in there!

I need to have a flexible one as positioning is not suitable for a fixed. Also looking to keep weight down where possible.
Photonic Universe method is what I think I’ll go for with mppt controller to maximise conversion efficiency when needed.

We were there last Tuesday and managed 9 runs riding up (later on pushing up!) in an afternoon.
All tracks (hsd, proper job, super Tavi) were running the best I’ve ever experienced. I love the place!

I’ve been using the softer compound version on a 26inch 150/160mm bike. Easy to go up tubeless, light and the chunky monkey is predictable and pretty grippy in most conditions except slop. Smorgasbord a bit less so and spins out easily. If you just ride trail centre stuff through the winter they are great for the price.

Also softer compound doesnt wear as quickly as a super tacky type maxxis though I read are meant to be from the same factory.

    Madison DTE Waterproof Trousers AW17

I’m looking at this post with interest and these seem to fit the bill but I could do with some real life experience reports! Fed up with half waterproof nonsense.

Slight hi jack. When bleeding your M4’s donyou have bite point and reach would in or out fully?

I have tried both and it doesn’t seem to make much difference but am struggling to get rid of the amount of throw mine seem to constantly have?

Looking to ride the new red, rooty rutz, I think its called. Name doesn’t bode well for greasy conditions!

How does the coil shock climb on the rocket? Want coil but can’t get my current one to do anything but bounce too much when climbing without without winding the pre load in too much.

I have a full face for dh stuff and bike parks but can’t see myself lugging it round an Enduro track for 30 miles hence the requirement for detachable.

I think I’m more or less sold in the bell but need to check its fit.

All my helmets are giro currently and fit great
