When getting divorced i drank!!! Loads!!
Out at 6pm on friday, no tea, 1st pub 3pints, next pub, 3 pints, next pub, 3 pints, about 8-8.30 be in my local and then stay there til 2-3 next morning!! If we went off Carling or Bud (on tap) we’d have a few alcopops and then go back on it again later. Easy 20+ pints.

Feel like crap next morning, Macs for breakfast and do the same on Sunday and again maybe midweek.

Woke up one morning, doing the dog his breakfast, and threw up blood. Hospital for a bit and that was enough for me. Drink very little now and feel well for it.

Now, Still have a few drinks at BBQ’s or parties but if we’re out for a meal, i’ll drive and let the soon to Mrs Skip have a drink.

Work for a waste company covering all types of waste from household to hazardous. We have one site running (has been for 25+ yrs) and are setting up another 3 to recycle, compost, waste to ethanol and energy from waste.

The waste industry is the place to be, we all make it and buy products that make it…..can’t live without us!! 😀

Drop me a line and i’ll help if you want.

Replaced a Stumpjumper FSR with a EX8 and its the best move i’ve made. After a year of good solid riding there nothing to report….

….best riding bike i’ve had, very plush ride, good fit and it feels lighter than it is (i think) Just replaced bits as they have worn out so i’ts only getting lighter and better as it goes on!!

£4.99!!! She was pregnant at the time and was strapped for cash. Sent away here measurements and and got one back that fitted like a glove…even though it was a dress.

She took a bit of a chance but it paid off.

Thats it Munque-chick, we got the place we wanted, when we wanted it and at the price we wanted, smiles all round. Our lass had always wanted the hall we’ve booked from being a small girl so is really happy.

Think the average price is £15-20k

Hora, friend of ours got one off ebay, made to measure in China for £4.99 and about £70 postage. It came all in time, fitted perfectly and looked stunning!!

Our lasses came in about 6 weeks from America……and yes they do cost alot!! (Walks away crying into my rented hanky from my rented suit!!)

We are in the process of saving for our wedding (next feb) and it’ll cost us about £9k. Yes its alot for one day, and think of all the things we could of got instead but we are happy and want to share the day with our family and friends. I’m 33 and our lass is 28, the only thing that her mum and dad are buying is her dress. And yes we live together with a mortgage and other bills. I wouldn’t say that we are rolling in it but with a little bit of planning, its easy to save up for the day.

As for the original problem, looking at the paperwork we have, i’d try and knock some off what they’re asking for but its not far out.

Best of luck with it all mate. Like some other peole have said, better off now than 2 weeks after!!!

So roughly how long does it take to get the company code through? Got our lass in the office to register the other day, and get on well with the boss so no major problems at this end.

    Any ideas??

Have a set of 2.1 ADvantages for the wet stuff and a set of Crossmarks for when its dry. Both look very similar size wise. Both less than 600g.

Bad as it sounds, check out ebay. Got a pair of ADvantage eXCeption for £22 plus post a couple of months ago (buy it now) and some Crossmarks for £25 plus post.

    Both are cracking tyres!!

Right, i know these schemes are to get people to ride to work rather than take the car but……

……..do they check how far away from work you live and do they know you won’t want to cycle that far on a daily basis??

I live nr Barnsley and work nr Leeds, approx 35 mile each way (on the motorway). I have use of a van due to me having to go to other sites, visit customers etc.

Can i still get a bike through the cycle to work type schemes??

Lets face it, we all have a look on here cos we like the look of the other sex (when fit in both senses of the word)and in some cases the same sex. Even the girlies have a go god bless ’em!!

I know what “Friday A&A” is about. If you dont want to see it, don’t bother looking.

Good work Windymills, bottom pic is class!!

I like them, got the 26″ one. They role quick and and do grip well. I know they aren’t a mud tyre but they are bad in it, especially up front. Washed out time and time again.

They do clear well though, a good summer/dry tyre.

As Stretch said. Make sure that the local amenity site can take it. If not, you may need to get a disposer in to remove the stuff. If you do, and there is more than 200kg, you will have toregister as a hazardous waste produce with the Environment Agency. Cost is £18 on the internet. This gives you a 3 letter 3 number code just for your house. Do this yourself as disposal companies will charge extra (we do!!) Then phone about. Look for a transfer station that is licenced to take it, they will give you a better price than a disposer who runs straight to tip as there will be a minimum charge, say 3 tonne min.

Get some prices for the removal of the asbestos and try and get the seller of the house to pay for it, or get the value knocked off the price of the house!!

I looked at a 5 and an EX8 (same frame as EX9 but for link) last year (pre big price increases) and got an EX8. The bike felt right from the start. Just feels sooo smooth on any surface. As above, tyres are crap.

Ride both, and then ride both again. Your the one thats going to be riding it!! Enjoy!!

Used to work at a motorbike shop in Sheffield about 17 years ago and they were a KTM stockist then. Did all the enduro and cross bikes and we did the mountain and road bikes then. Have to say that at that time, they looked great vaue for money, well thought out and had some good kit on them.

New ones look like they’ve gone the same way.
