Singletracks here too, but use their 8 panel click-in liner.

Mrs uses a women spec TNF. The model is some shark name I think. She seems well pleased with it. Would fit your size requirements.

Doesn’t look like the 2 old (and increasingly tatty) originals I am looking to replace, and neither does it look like the new version on CRCs site. Ti railed WTB for less than £20???? Unlikely I’d say.

    Try a post on Retrobike.
Sure it’s that old. My 96 cone was a strange semi-matt greenish gold called, if I remember correctly, Gange Green. Found a very approximate match in the Halfords touch-up pen rack.
God, I wish I’d never sold that bike on.

This hasn’t really been much help, has it?

Half Jackets with standard lenses here. Never had muck sneaking under, tho’ steaming when stopped or grunting uphill an occasional problem. Shop around and you might find a good ‘array’ deal – frame, 2 sets of lenses and a case to hold everything.

    1. More interesting. Can’t believe people use those things when they have a front door they can open.
    2. Find a decent specialist running shop.
    3. Wet, chaffing t-shirt? Wear something wicky. Unless you like it of course.
    5. Lots of horse sh!t around here, which is less objectionable.

I found it very enjoyable, for what it’s worth. Preceeded by a curry at the Aziz down Cowley Road. Best night out in along time.

Best TV prog I’ve seen in a very long while. A national treasure.

Find Mud X a b*gg*r to get bead seated in WTB Speedmaster rim. Drives me nuts, with slow inflation, ‘manipulation’, whacking it up to 80+psi, etc. – still egglike.
Never have problems with other foding tyres on the rim though.

    This hasn’t helped you much, but I feel a post-rant sense of relief . . .

Ceramic since September, replacing RF. Too early to tell on longevity, but so far so good. Still super smooth.

Atonement. Missus fancied it, and I surprised myself by quite enjoying it.
Last King of Scotland later tonight.

Mislaid my mojo. After two years of mud I’m taking a break til spring. Fingers crossed for a decent summer.

Some old Martin Stephenson remasters. Probably be tempted by the Only Ones reissues too. Am I out of step with the modern world?

Dekerf Solitaire looks nice to me, tho’ I’ve actually always regretted selling my old (’96) Cindercone! Out of interest, anyone know if Dekerf were/are available thru Sideways?

Re the debate about best P7 sizing: I’m 6′ 2″/34″ leg with an EA70 layback and (unfashionable long) 100mm stem. Suits me to a t. Reckon at 6′ 4″ it would be too cramped. With a 50-60mm stem – no chance.

Seriously into running xc, 10ks etc. Got past 30 and injuries became a regular problem. Got back on a bike to give myself a break but maintain fitness. Mtb’s looked like a good way to get of the beaten track. Voila! I found a new money pit. Fortunately Mrs is similarly inclined.

    Less foreign riding articles.
    More Grinder.
    (Bike) porn.
    Manufacturer articles.
Less poorly written filler – the four riders and their bikes from different areas of the UK sticks in the memory.
    Reader routes.

Snaps pic is nothing like the original. Michaels is at least superficially closer. Still got two on the go, never found anything else that comes close. One’s looking v tired so I’ll certainly check out any updated versions.
