The new WTB SST’s are, to my butt, indistinguishable from the classic original. Too soon to say on durability tho’.

My employer has informed us it is a Public Holiday, rather than a Bank Holiday. As such they have allocated all staff an additional days leave, which we may choose to take on the 29th, or add to our annual entitlement.
Why waste it watching a chinless wonder get hitched to social climbing Sloane type tho’?

Simple straightforward prescription, probably Specsavers etc. are fine
Any complex condition or history, as I have, then I’d be looking at a well recommended local optician. In my case my GP was a great help, pointing me in the right direction.
After Boots took over my local D&A the service in all respects was utterly appalling.
Eye test was around £26, new reading specs £150 for entirely presentable 1/2 frame style. Could easily have doubled that if I’d felt so inclined.

Chrissie Hynde, by a mile. The sound of her voice excites me greatly.

+1 Aqua Terra auto. Thought long & hard before replacing a 15 year old Ebel. No regrets. Love it.

A word of warning: if you refer to Scotland as ‘scottyland’ when you visit you are likely to be chibbed in.

And if the music’s not to your taste it’s a lovely bit of coastline . . . . . well, north of Methil anyway.

Had a couple of trips there on the end of independant backpacking/safari trips on the mainland. A weeks sufficient – the second time we went it felt like we were revisiting someplace that didn’t really warrant it – should have gone to Pemba or Chumbe instead. Sorted out accommodation when we got off the hydrofoils. Course all this was 20/15 years ago so Stone Town may have the Golden Arches & open top Sightseeing buses by now! Understand from friends that it has seen some touristification since we were there.
For what it’s worth we spent a day walking in the rainforests – red colobus monkeys were wonderful – a couple of days on the east coast on a perfect beach deserted except for fishermen in the lagoon, and the rest of the time wandering around Stone Town, local markets and watching the sun go down from the balcony bar at the Africa House Hotel.

Objective/subjective – so what? All the above leads to one conclusion: you need to try em and decide which you prefer.
For what it’s worth I prefer my P7 One. Biased you say? No, cos there is a Soul in the garage too.

9 year old has access to much more than I ever had, but seems happiest running up and down the street playing sword fights with his mates, using sticks.

Mrs faffed around for a few weeks, with no result.
Sat lad down on his potty in the kitchen – easy clean tiled floor – and spent a couple of hours reading story books. Lots of praise when he delivered required result.
Thereafter no problems (except the one occasion when he curled one out on the garage floor).

1 gin to 3 tonic. Always a slice of lime. 3 cubes.
For high days and holidays we indulge ourselves with a bottle of Hendrick’s. Other times Sapphire.

Oh, and as a runner we seem to be hated by obnoxious neds hanging out of the windows of white Transits. Or maybe it’s just me.
