She’s a basic bothy for sure.
Not terribly weather proof(but it was a couple of years ago).
Definately take coal if you can, worth it.

For your second bothy experience try and get to Carlotta’s Eyrie. The finest bothy in Scotland. (only sleeps two however).

I’ve used an old version of this for about 8 years, fairly regularly.
Including winter hills and cycle touring.
You can cram two folk in if need bed and i can sit up in it(shortarse mind).
Good porch and when set up with the wee end into the wind, it’s solid and very quiet even in a gale in assynt.
Highly recommend it.

I did this a few weeks ago and got the same thing happening. I took out the seals and dried them off so the top was fairly dry. Rolled it on and tightened up. seemed to sort the weeping.

I have a T4 trophy autosleeper 2.5 petrol. The lads will all sat ooh mileage but i get 30 on the good roads, 22-25 on the shitey twisties.
