The scene in the first movie where they dance over to the girls is the funniest thing i’ve seen in ages! Really looking forward to the second movie, but it’s not getting released here in the U.S. so i’ll have to wait till it’s on Netflix…

Very nice stuff there guys! On a tangent, today I discovered Baisongs are legal here (to own and carry). Always thought they looked awesome, so I’m going to treat myself to a little Benchmade one. The wife even says it’s ok! 🙂

I was buzzed by a pair of these guys a couple of weeks ago… They were under 100ft directly above me and hauling ass. What a noise!

Oh, and also, this is a friend of mine flying her Pitts Special aerobatics plane… She’s quite good!

Don’t have that one, but have several of their “tough cases”. Very sturdy and well put together. I have one that stays outside in the bed of my pickup. Car washes, hot, cold, rain, snow, everything inside is still pristine and the box is immaculate. I have no reason to believe the tstak would be any different 🙂

Yip… Same thing here. Been checked out and told everything is fine. It’s still weird though 😯

As i recall, shimano tapers are short and steep vs campy long and thin… Tightening down campag cranks on shimano bb will likely either crack your arms or come loose increasingly often… Time to kick up stink i’m afraid

An awful lot of nice bikes here guys! I WAS holding off for the new XTR for my SC, but the pics i’ve seen it looks like balls, so XX1 it is (probably with Raceface SL 1X cranks)… I’ll be sticking with Shimano brakes though 🙄

Haven’t done it often, but have had some epic rides whilst half-cut. Never an injury either… Learned to manual and plucked up the courage for my first stair gap after many many beers (abilities which have stuck with me unlike the ability to drink).
As mentioned by others, some fast laps during 24hr races were fueled by whisky, cider and lager.. Problem with long events like those though, is that your hangover sets in before the riding is done :/

Be prepared for everyone to sanctimoniously point out that “American cars suck in anything but a straight line” and “an M3 would run circles round that”… Pretty much repeating anything Jeremy Clarkson rants about.
They really are different beasts, but that’s what makes muscle cars great! One of my friends in Glasgow has a Camaro and has very little trouble getting spares, so don’t be too put off by that.
The modern ones are starting to become competitive too for what it’s worth 😉

This is my dream right here…

I have a friend with a Hemi ’70 Barracuda and it’s pretty nice. The guy next door has a ’67 Shelby GT500 which he decided to “restore” but he’s a raging alcoholic and it’s in a million bits now. Not likely to be a car again any time soon 😯

It’s my favourite show on at the mo… McConaughey and Harrelson are both terrific.
Wife and I have given up on a few shows recently, but this is a keeper 🙂

My wife’s friend had Natalie Portman push in front of her at a bar. She protested and Ms Portman replied “do you know who I am?”. She smugly replied “nope” as she pushed back in front… Portman was far from impressed lol!

A decade working in bikes shops and I haven’t yet come across a brand that I haven’t seen ANY issues with… As said before, go with whoever has best aftersales.

Two things… White shirt (presumably left tangled in the white sheets), and more recently my wife left a 9mm in the room safe of a Texas Hilton. A frantic drive back and the staff were happy to let us go get it. Being Texas, it probably happens all the time :/

I would have always defined a boutique brand as one which sells frames not bikes… I think Santa Cruz took a bit of a niche hit as soon as they started selling complete builds… I love my Santa Cruz, and would have another Yeti too.
As far as I’m concerned, the bike industry is too competitive for there to be any complete turds any more (for the most part), so try as many as you can, stick to your choice and don’t let haters put you off 🙂

This thread is making me jealous… 🙄
This is my daily driver which I put about 300 miles a week on. 5.4l V8 pickup.
My plaything is even worse, but it doesn’t get much use… 6.3l V8 pickup.

Yeah, I decided against a Yeti, as I really can’t justify the expense, and the new frame is just so nice! Built it up within an hour of receiving my 142mm kit for my rear wheel. 😆 Ordered an Elite Dropper seatpost for it already and planning on a Double Barrel Air CS shock soon too 🙂

I am not sure if the 2013 model with the iscg tabs and 142mm rear end has the redesigned bearing mould process, so I don’t know… 😯

Well, it took a while, but I had this arrive on my doorstep and I think it’s lovely! I was thinking of selling the warranty replacement and putting it towards a SB66 but i’m very taken by this 😕

My old one that was replaced by my Blur LTc…

But the Blur is now cracked, so i’m getting another Yeti… SB66 or 66c. Not decided yet 🙄

Curses… Hadn’t heard of the problem before and thought it would be worth a quick look at mine… 2010 model LTc with the same problem you guys have pointed out… Fired a quick email to SC to see how to proceed as i’m 300 miles from the nearest dealer :/

Snapped a 3mm drill bit and proceeded to drill the remainder of the bit through my thumb nail… K’sake that hurt!

Between myself and my riding friends we have probably had at least 15 different Orange DH bikes since the 222 was released… All have been raced and we all loved each and every one. Probably half of the bikes have podiumed somewhere along the line… It’s a sad state of affairs. I had already decided my trusty 224 was the last DH bike I would ever buy, and I guess that has settled it… 😐
