If bikes didn't crack from time to time, they wouldn't offer warranties…. Most manafacturers will have breakages from time to time! I don't think i could name a manafacturer that i haven't seen cracked at one point or another. Intense are incredible for it, yet their reputation is still going strong. It's like Ferraris and Lambos. Yeah, the doors will sometimes not close, and they occasionally burst into flames, but you still would!
Commencals (Comicals) are still proper rubbish though!

not the wheel combination i would recommend you starting out your wheelbuilding experiments on… It's some amount of kit to screw up if you don't do it right. Don't forget to threadlock the cups in!

Get an Easton bung for EC90 road forks. It's an alloy sleeve with pre-fitted star-nut that is designed to be bonded (with supplied epoxy) inside carbon steerers. It both holds the star-nut and helps with the stem loads…

excluding lottery winners and theives, the people who are driving nice cars are going to be successful, and usually successful people are intelligent. And intelligent people are usually good drivers. Thus, people with nice cars are quite often good drivers.

Actually, i think the worst folk with flash cars are the tossers who are successful because they step on other people to get where they are. Usually the arses who drive range rover sports, usually talk on their phone whilst driving and double park… Loads of them are cyclists too ironically. Usually with awesome bikes that they can’t ride. *rant*

I run sticky velcro (available from John Lewis) under the swingarm on my 224 and it’s superb! You do need to use clear varnish over the edges though to stop it peeling…

Now that those cranks are selling for £440, cassette £80 etc, you’d be mad not to split it! You’ll make far more though it is more effort…

Save your pennies and go for the lyriks. Not so much for the extra travel, but for the superior damping adjustments and the extra stiffness… Especially if you’re a big fella… You’ll need to get them quick though, cos they’re going up by a couple of hundred quid NOW!
