Hello, I was in this position a few months ago. Someone drove into my car, they admitted liability, my car was written off.
My insurers Hastings were dealing with it so one day they ring me up and the guy gives me this low ball offer ( basically the cheapest car they can find on Autotrader than is the same year / model) I reject the offer. So then you have to scan all these ads of similar cars to yours from autotrader and send them to the insurers.
I believe what you are getting is called an ‘interim’ payment, if you send the evidence they will pay you the difference.
I ripped the cheque up that they sent me as an interim payment because i said I wanted it payed into my bank all at the same time.
I stayed in the hire car for over a month until they made the full payment into my bank account, I think you are entitled to do the same if you rejected their offer
I had it before they had streaming so it was just next day delivery. Now you get the video streaming thing you can use on games consoles, set top boxes, tablets etc. Now they have the music streaming too
It’s never going to happen, most junctions in this country with lights are pretty major, with crossings for pedestrians, we have roundabouts for most stuff
Apple TV is kind of shit, no apps for UK. not even iPlayer. You have to use a phone of ipad to do anything with it. I would get a fire TV stick or a games console
If the garage selling the car have not at least given it a service before selling it on then I would definitely walk, there are plenty of places that do not even check over cars before selling them on
I been playing the P-class ghost league all last week. Had it since release and not even raced on half the tracks yet, lot more content than 5 for sure
so basically you were in the traffic proceeding along waiting for your right turn and the other driver decides to jump the whole line of traffic driving on the wrong side of the road to take the same right turn? if thats what happened then you have nothing to worry about
have you been to V12sportsandclassics in HInckley, they are cheap, most high mileage though. The thing with these places is that they don’t even check the cars over at all, they are straight from auction and washed it that
80k is too low mileage for that price range I think, for under 10k you are looking at older cars I guess nearing 10 years old, it is very rare to find a 10 year old BMW with low mileage like that
don’t the numbers get obscured by autotrader. Anyway seems like a legitimate question about the car, what makes you thing it is a scam and how are they in a position to scam you?
vanquis credit card, they seem to give them to anyone, low credit limit. Very account, they give them to most people and build decent credit. Could end badly though if he is not serious
If it’s a good catch they do get credit, any tom dick or harry could catch a lot of them though with no prior cricket experience, the same couldn’t be said about bowling
