barefoot waterskiing during the first half of the 90’s and wakeboarding from the early days in ’89 up until 2005,

barefooting qualifies for a bit different wakeboarding clearly does not unless you had the original ‘skirf’ board to learn on !!!, i still have a 1993 shapiro hyperlite wakeboard that i can’t bring myself to sell,

my best mate and his wife and child stumbled across a puma carcass that thier dog had picked up the sent of,

not saying where, but they took a mobile phone photo and popped into the forestry commision hut on the way home, the rangers were not supprised and told them to keep schtum about it as they didn’t want to have truck loads of hunters in their woods every night.

same woods same area of said wood where my dad always told me the ‘black cat’ lived in the seventies,

my dad aslo saw a ‘black cat’ cross the road in front of his lorry in 1997 near oxford,

thanks for that charlie, loved it,

the bikes do look more than a bit desirable even now, it’s those bars i recon, you can keep the gloves though 😀

very well presented as well, can see that would have had a very positive effect on the sport in it’s early days
hats off to the guy with the mic for being understanding and not being judgemental.

    top marks all round,

    more please

yep sure gets owned but had it coming, you try and dispatch an animal like that and he knows and he’s also big enough to dispatch you
first don’t be suprised if he goes for it once he gets his chance,

I’m all for shooting, hunting etc but i have always enjoyed seeing the crowds stampeded on the bull run and the odd matador getting a proper mauling, once got the offer to attend a bull fight, no thanks.

Heard Grohl introduce a certain older special guest from my bed last night , it’s ***** F-ING ****** nice bit of swearing that most of MK heard hehe , I google mapped it I live 1.8 miles as the crow flies from the stage,
Was out riding with my daughter on the parks yesterday and I can confirm that most of the people heading toward the bowl were indeed pissed and wearing flip flops, skinny jeans , etc real dreggs , I remember the days if ozz fest at the bowl, proper metal / rock fans , looking forward to hearing sone more swearing tonight

I did Dawn on me earlier that as I can usually hear the concerts that most likely means I will have to endure a night of JLS next month ….ffs

    big bloke,

same lancaster was over bletchley park 1855 hrs, heading due east toward bedford,

as for those helicopters, stunning things being able to fly more than 100k on a tank of fuel, maybe the apache’s and chinooks that cross over have actually flown over from the Stan???, 😉

question remains, why bletchley and milton keynes???

the lanc is on flypast duty, all ww2 aircraft fly over bletchley park when crossing through north bucks.

we get merlins on a daily basis which stuns me as i live near woburn and the nearest operational raf camp likely to use them must be at least 100k, they seem to use bletchley park as a way point

yep been there when i was twenty, you learn that these are the early signs of a relationship that will ultimately fail, my best mates brother did the sniffing, my misses at the time seemed to like the attention as she was being ‘fought over’ in her opinion, really got up my nose and I knew I was being ‘worked’. it lasted another few years and failed in a classic way,

If i was your mate, i would be lining up another lass on the back of it’s always easier to get a girls if you have another, then let these two flirters play out, then as it all comes to a head you say fair enough and pull out the joker card (new girlfriend in the wings) da dar, everyones happy…ish…

classic first girlfriend stuff..oh if i had my time again etc etc..

ps i don’t agree with this kind of foolery…when your in your late 30′ onwards, in your teens and 20’s tho’ wahoooooooooooooooooo

had a wasp nest in my loft all last year, never got stung once, i hate the evil things but decided to let them live, thought about phoning the council but in the end just let them be, end of the year they all died and the queens buggered off to find a new home,

the entrance was above the back door some 20 feet up, i have two young daughters under six and a squeamish wife, they never bovered us. good karma

Not owned a pig but have rode on one and liked it very much , but I do have a soul which is prob the best frame out there apart from a sovereign IMO ( I have a sov too) the cotic as someone has already posted just grips and tears up the tracks , the back end is pure lovelyness , unfortunately I will be selling mine next week as my heckler will be arriving on Tuesday , I’m going to post it on here for sale, frame, carbon USE post and XTR front mech,

I know I will regret it but I love the sov too much despite it’s weight and one of them had to go as the misses said 4 bikes already is enough , buy a soul , cy got it bang on when he designed it you will love it , that is all

it’s been 29-30 here all day,

woburn was warm this morning, stinking of pine sap and sperm trees (honeysuckle), got covered in cuts from
the brambles, stung by the nettles and finally soaked by the big puddles and covered in mud,

pretty much a perfect sunday morning ride 😀

man thats poor, and i was thinking of ordering a pile of parts for my new heckler from them next week,

    hello wiggle/merlin etc etc

i hate the way things are going with them as i was a customer when they first started out and have stuck with them over the decades, but in the 2 years i have found them inconsistent, sometimes absolutely useless with my longest delivery a record breaking 4 months and other times lightning quick delivery with no hassles,

but what smacks is the fact they seem to not give a toss most of the time.

i’ve driven all three offroad and owned and soon will be the owner again of a defender,

the defender is proper no thrills utility, highly capable off road and ok on,

the disco is fine luxury and compared to the above highly powered and technically able to do everything
the above could do at the throw of a dial, very nice

the rangey is jaw dropping with massive power and speed on the road sitting in virgin first class surroundings, pass the wine my dear, off road this thing is unequaled, i could not believe we had road tyres on !! the way it drives on the computer hardware lets you sit there with your feet off the pedals controlling the car just with the flappy paddles ?? while at the same time your going up a slope that you couldn’t drive a tank up.

i drove a disco 3 top of the spec on one saturday, the next week i drove the top spec range rover , both were diesel and both had under 1000 miles,

cheers for the freebee landrover, your sales teams still shit though

in a few months we are going to start working on the first carbon nano tube reactors, thses are the first prototypes i have ever heard of, the customer is a world leader and based in the far east,

anything claiming to be of nano tube contrustion ie my easton bars are as the previous poster confirmed just hap hazard as they do occasionally line up during the normal carbon construction, but these are not layed or bonded and have no real structure or benefit.

Agree with some of that, but 7 kids and not very good income does smack
a bit, certainly looks like they were just expecting someone to make up any shortfall
IMO they could always try and do better at work to bring the income up, but that may
Involve actually making some more effort and probably won’t leave enough time for mcdonalds
    Trips and tv ?
