i’ve driven all three offroad and owned and soon will be the owner again of a defender,
the defender is proper no thrills utility, highly capable off road and ok on,
the disco is fine luxury and compared to the above highly powered and technically able to do everything
the above could do at the throw of a dial, very nice
the rangey is jaw dropping with massive power and speed on the road sitting in virgin first class surroundings, pass the wine my dear, off road this thing is unequaled, i could not believe we had road tyres on !! the way it drives on the computer hardware lets you sit there with your feet off the pedals controlling the car just with the flappy paddles ?? while at the same time your going up a slope that you couldn’t drive a tank up.
i drove a disco 3 top of the spec on one saturday, the next week i drove the top spec range rover , both were diesel and both had under 1000 miles,
