    euain:

they repaired the old one. saying old, i only got it in april. they replaced several seals/orings as stated on the paper work what came back.
i think i did 3 rides and it lost all pressure again. Im hoping there going to send a new one this time round.

bails: no sag at all on mine. just when sat down on it, all air pressure lost and when trying to add more just comes out as fast as your putting in.

ive ridden the clwyds a few times and i quite like it. not that techinical tbh, just in small parts, loads and loads of sheep crap, be prepared to be covered in the stuff. but a really good xc ride, something different than the usual stuff i do. still loads of riding like everyone said with in an hours drive. (coed y brenin, snowdon, cadair idris, penmachno etc)

    you cant

any message you compose that has 480 characters or more will be converted into an MMS. This is a restriction on SMS technology, I think?, due to the amount of data involved.

In fact the limit is 160 characters per text but latest technology allows you to string 3 x 160 blocks together as one message, then it’s up to the receiving device to put the 3 blocks together as they were composed.

So either break up your messages into 480 character messages, carry on composing and send as MMS, or send an email instead.

one of the problems with a gps round dele is that some of the trails are so close together, it gets confusing for the gps unit. Im sure tracs the bike shop on site still does evening ride on thursdays round the forest, which would be a good start to find bits.

if i remember when i get in from work ill email you one.

I don’t really want to spend too much more than £100

So its either go for a XT Clutch Mech

merlin were doing them for £56 last week as i got one myself. they only have the long cage left now though if your interested.

you can control the speed of the reverb with the switch near the remote. maybe thats on the lowest position. try turning it up to see if it speeds up.

stans liquid is imo the best. but i used superstars rim tape and valves as they were just the same but cheaper.

it is wrong, but i would love to no, how these people pick up the dog shit when there thrashing it downhill and there dog is crapping up the trail !!! 😉

i think the difference is that the tubeless ready tyres have got a better seal, so if thats the case then im guessing you would probaly need a bit more stans in the tyre to make sure it seals everywhere.

ive not used non tubeless tyres but i no riders who have and say they work.
also non tubeless tyres the sidewalls arnt probaly up to much.

in the real world of course you can reheat rice/risotto. nearly every restaurant/hotel will be doing that.

i usually reheat with a bit of stock.(veg/chicken/fish) or you can use council stock if you prefer 😉

just a thought as i never read your other thread.

are you sure they were policeman ?

it could be a scam where the seller sells a bike, then gets his mates round to your house ( as he has the address, make of bike etc), says there police, you’ve bought a stolen bike etc etc, they take it, and the now seller has your money and now the bike.

    or am i just paranoid……… 😯 😉

i just measured my seatpost i had in already. which gave me the length, then measured how much was sticking out, which gave me the drop i wanted.

    i got 380 and a 125 drop. ( i had well over that sticking out )

yep use the travel limit if your reverb fails when out riding, otherwise you will have to ride with the seat down.

had to use the customer service a couple of weeks ago. i must admit there were very good. emailed back to be several times within hours of every email (one was late at night too !! ) had a problem with rocker arm bearings, they picked the bike up FOC, replaced rear rocker arm/bearings and returned bike within 9 days.(again FOC. emailed me with updates etc.
i cannot fault them, with any buisness its impossible to be 100% perfect, but its how they deal with that what makes them worth dealing with.
    a happy customer indeed

i have the am (11/12 model)
i had a proper squeak after one ride, and when i checked i noticed on one of the pivots on the rocker arm, that the round cap what covers the bearings had worn down to a half moon !! and that the bearings had just collasped inside. after contacting customer services ( who were brilliant by the way) they agreed to pick the bike up and replace the bearings for me foc. THEN i get an email saying that they are replacing the whole of the rear rocker arm, again foc

well happy with the service and how they dealt with it. bike was away for only 9 days also 🙂

    a medium to last 3 years ??

i would certainly have a look at his dad/brothers etc to see how tall they are. he will still have a couple of growth spirts left yet. he could reach 6ft by 16 easily.

its hard to call the size at that age when you want the bike to last.

some mediums are a small in some brands and some are a large etc. so definatly look at that also.

do you go for a bike that fits now and wont fit in a years time, or buy a slightly bigger bike now, so he grows into it.

    hmmmm

if your in ireland then you can, but not in the uk. saying that they are trying to get it to work in this country, so whether its sooner or later no one knows as of yet, but they are working on it.

you dont want a cast iron made hanger what isnt going to break as thats its job, to break and stop your mech from braking.

just change to a short cage and you wont have half as many 😉

Beware that some of the bogtrotters routes appear to be misprinted and include footpaths (must be an oversight).

😆 or it could be because …. 😉

with regards security, its best to have several layers instead of just 1 or two, so it takes time for them to get to your bikes.think about how would they get into your garden and work from there.
it sounds like your ground anchor is a waste of time, if its just on a wooden floor. 2 mins that will be up. if you can, make a hole and fill that with concrete in the floor, or if you cant why dont you get a big bucket/barrel and fill that with concrete and put your anchor in that ( ive seen car tyres filled with it also)
also no good having a good anchor point if your chains are a waste of time. almax chains are superb.

not cheap but so arnt your bikes 😉

1 hardtail and 1 full suss here.

no problems with bikes at all. love them, defo buy again in the future.

i thought the ordering process was sound also. i was kept up to date with the bikes progress right up to delivery.

happy as larry ( and he is well happy )

yeah defo avoid 1 and 2 stars. 3&4 can be a bit decieving as paperwork affects the star rating. you could have the cleanest kitchen in town, but if your fridge temps arnt up to date, or probe temps etc. then you will lose stars. 4 and 5 is a good standard for any fast food place, but if the food is shit, well its your decision 😀

totally agree, the dl prices are disgusting. i dont mind buying the old classics, but i would never buy a new game for 50 quid or more disc or download !

could the likes of gamestation etc survive with out the second hand market ?

the sales of games must be affected if this came in. less games would be bought. which means less consoles sold.

once one console does it, they all will as it wont be the hardware company’s decsion it will be the software houses who are making this decsion..
