isnt the black trail .25 slacker than the red though, you may have take a few tools with you so you can swap over at different stages. being that tad slacker on the black when you hit the red could, and i use that term loosely, could be bad for your health.

Just move it. Trolley jack or similar under the rear axle, and roll it out into the road. Put the barrier up. Deny all knowledge.
    this

just move it yourself some how and deny all knowledge.
i had a car which parked infront of my drive a couple of times ( i dont care if he can or cant, its a respect thing !! )

you can usually tell when its lag when you watch the replay of you been killed, like above says, you may have thought you fired the gun in return, but on the replay you didnt. you died well before that.

    with regards your oats

normal oats usually give a chewie flapjack where jumbo oats give a more crumbly texture as they absorb more.
i tend to do what IHN does, but usally drizzle some bitter choc on the top when there finished.

ill resurect this post as its on the same subject as my question.

ive just ordered a 2.4 nobby nic snakeskin and a 2.2 black chilli rubber queen. my intention was to put the nic on the rear and the RQ on the front. my rims are pretty wide 32mm (outside).

do you reckon the RQ will come up bigger still even though there 2.2 ?

i dont want the back end higher than the front. they will be tubeless also.

    cheers guys

I’m thinking about one of the metal ones. Expensive but worth it if they are totally secure. Spartaniv, could 3 strong scrotes lift the 4 bike unit and just carry the whole lot?

the shed should be anchored to a solid floor. it comes with the bolts to do that. no way of lifting it.

ive got a hardtail and AM.

had the hardtail for nearly 3 years and never had a problem with it, just the usual wear and tear over the years.

the nerve am ive had a couple of problems. the main one bieng the pivot bearings (which seemed to be a common one. this was after about 9 months i notice the top cap on the pivot bearing worn down. so i open it and the bearing were just disingrated. phoned them up and they said that the bearings were wear and tear and are only covered for 6 months, but bieng a valued customer blah blah blah, we will look at it. they arrange to pick it up and drop it off, didnt cost me a penny. they contacted me by email through every stage, and it was decided that for what ever reason they replaced the rocker arm its self and the bearings.

so was happy with the result and i was always kept informed with what was happening with my bike.

ive had a new headset on the bike (didnt no if that was still under warrenty, but i just replaced it, bearings in hubs replaced, new BB etc. bike gets rode as it should do, hard, so the wear and tear is acceptable.

if i had to complain it it would be the paint job has faded in places and the delivery charge is too much imo, if i need to buy something from them. but thats it.

i would buy again if i had the money 🙂

sell the car and move on. cut the ties and be happy.

that 200 quid a month can buy you alot of things. put it towards a new bike or a holiday for yourself and go enjoy yourself instead of making yourself ill over something which isnt going to work….EVER

    cheers guys for replys

its a dt swiss freehub.. defiantly doesnt take a spacer, ive tried all sizes and the casette sits to high up freehub otherwise and locking nut wont grip.

just took it back lbs (round the corner thankfully) and it is the freehub still, he explain to me what it was/is. (he never got chance yesterday, shop was heaving).
you can tell its been serviced, silky smooth, but to get rid of the of the slight play it would need a new free hub (only can noticed when cassette is on), which will cost alot as we now, but he reckons it will be fine and wont damaged anything or jump gears or owt with the amount it has. he recommends just keep using it until it gets alot worse then replace it. he reckons ill get at least 8/12 months out of it, so fair enough. no need to spend more than i need to. if i can get through winter ill be happy with that.

cheers guys, if its not one thing its always something else with this biking lark 🙂

you can use quite a few different options for the tape.
some riders use gorrilla tape, some use installation tape. i used superstars rim tape and i also got the valves off superstar as they were the cheapest i found. buy a bottle of stans and away you go. those starter kits are exspensive. alot cheaper to buy the items separate.

i have one of there models. really good. i put a couple of ground anchors in there plus extra locks on the front, alarm etc. (piece of mind more than anything). the internal locks seem really good, (3 way)

again dont no about the insurance, but if you are thinking about getting one soon, try and wait until halfords have the 20% off bicycle accesseries deal on, you can save about 80/100 quid and they delivery in a week, where you can wait up to 4 weeks if you go direct through asgard, and pay more.

when i went from square taper to hollow tech 2, it was the hardest part ever to remove. it took me hours. i ended up putting a seat post over the wrench to give me extra leverage. got the bugger off in the end. keep with it. 🙂

I’ll keep a spare post in my toolbox in the car next time (mine failed on Friday evening at start or weekend at Glentress/Inners so I ended up having to do a mad dash to 3 or 4 different bike shops to get a new seat post)

thats what the travel limiter is used for what comes with it (unless you bought a oem). if the reverb fails when your out, throw the limit on and off you go, just makes the reverb into a normal seatpost.

and i no what you mean about getting used to it. i need it as much as i need my wheels now lol.
