Heat the frame up and spray the bottom bracket with some shock unlock or other freeze style penetrating oil stuff.

One of the other should work as well.

This. 1/10hp Tom Senior Simplex, still needs more work yet.

I was thinking some of those riser drop bars.

Mixed with a Velo Cigne stem would give you a decent rise.

Means spending money IMHO would look less daft.

Polsilver are my favs, though been growing a beard since November so not shaved in a while….
They seem to be getting hard to get hold of in the UK?

Tyre pressures in my SUV tend to change depending on how much I’m towing. During the summer I tend to change the tyre pressure twice between the weekend with the trailer and the weekday with the commute.
I think I would be better off with my track pump than the thing my wife has in her car, I used to use the garage next door but we’ve now moved to the a**e hole of no where.

Please tell me the garage had shelves with storage jar hanging down with their lids nailed to the underside.

You’ve just given me an idea! My grandfather just had biscuit tins full of misc springs and screws.

Trying tame my moustache isn’t helping me not touch my face…. tempted to shave it all off.

I’ve been tempted but find a lot of these filled with pretty generic IPAs. SWMBO bought a beer advent calendar and about 3 were worth drinking again. So have a feeling I’d be wasting my money.

I need to find my local beer shop, the Red Elephant beer cellar in Truro was fantastic, I’m going to miss easy access to Verdant beer….

Not so much made, but been rebuilding this wee open crank engine, ran away from me a bit here, should be a bit less erratic when it’s bolted down with a demand valve rather than having gas blown in it’s face.
My Homemade trembler coil (read taser) gives a hell of a kick….

I’ve got a Exposure Flare and I hate it…. been back twice now, once the charger was knackered and once for the light it self, it’s never consistently works even now. While I love my Exposure front light I wouldn’t bother with their rear again (is the TraceR worth the upgrade?). I’ve got something like this BTR one on the back that I had as a back up for the Flare but it’s become my main light.. BTR

I miss my Fibre Flare, that was brilliant.

MOT end of April might be fun….. Key worker wifey can’t drive my manual plus I’m working 55 miles away now instead of 5… yay separation!

Bit of morale today, frozen pasties! I’m 200miles away from my family as it, might as well have come home comforts.

Lots of local businesses setting up meat/veg boxes and pubs/restaurants doing take out, will be looking to use those in the coming weeks.

Wen’t to Lidl and Morrisons earlier to get some fresh meals for the week, didn’t expect to come back depressed and anxious. Sort of wish I still had the allotment!
Needless to say it’s St Patrick’s Day so I’m breaking lent with some beer and chocolate… that will make me feel better until I get on the scales in the morning…

Lister CS Start-o-matic are a Stalwart of those wanting to live of grid, We had a few ST based standby units which worked well. LD as well.

CS are bringing good money now the enthusiasts are rounding them up.

Petter AV range, there is a couple of them on ebay atm.

Something like a Lister CS might be alright, heard of people running them on discarded chip oil, Lister manual suggests 1/4 pint of oil per gallon of 28sec heating oil. Don’t know if I would want to try it on anything too modern.

I’ve got one of those Epson EcoTanks, the initial outlay has been balanced out by how little Ink we’ve put in it, still on the original supplied Ink 3 years down the line. The Canon we had before it was useless, £50-60 for the ink and they lasted only a few months.
We’ve printed umpteen pages for kids for school/colouring/etc, the wife used it for her coursework and I’ve printed quite a few photos on it, though not the best for that. We are only now getting to where we need to refill it.

Yep, got a nice little collection of stuff I’ve picked up from Charity shops, use a lot of vintage lenses on my Fuji XH-1 & X-Pro 1. Got this lot on display at home to annoy the wife…I’ve used them all at least once after repairing them. There is a nice little photoshop in Penzance that develop and scan the photos onto my penstick for about a fiver for standard colour (B&W is about 8 quid)

I’m a bit lost at what to get atm… got a Garmin 230 but am getting fed up misplacing the HRM… was looking at the Amazfit Stratos but lack of external sensor support is a bit pants. Apart from going for another Garmin options seem a bit limited at the budget end.

+1 for the Anker, had 2 set (as I thought I lost one) work a treat for the price.

I enjoy it, dropped in and out quite often. Open world sort of game, some puzzle solving, some monster things to beat up and some quests to do, pretty impressive game rally.
Wouldn’t say I needed it, but I enjoy it.

After having someone rear end me with bikes on the back I would always use a lightboard.
Was a nightmare trying to prove the lights were visible on a car with the back end smashed in and a broken bike rack…… managed it and got the car and bikes paid for….

The flange distance (distance from the mount to the sensor) is too great on the Nikon, its really hard to adapt lenses to it.
