Still loving the Stooge. It’s my go to bike at the moment.
Looking forward to putting a 3” tyre on though. The 2.3” is a bit harsh.

The Stooge- I built it up in a couple ours with zero issues. Was a dream to build (and now ride 8) )

Hope ProII is super easy. I regularly pack mine with grease to keep the bees under control.

Paypal for various bits over the years. Never had issue with any of it.

    Why off the peg?
You could build up a bike for the same sort of money with components you like.
I would suggest a Stooge.. but I’m biased.

    They’ve got it all there!

    Disclaimer in the contract, etc.
You could use existing cameras in a car park.
Even upping the cost to £1/day would see it get used. Clean, dry bike with not dings from inconsiderate users and you could chuck some kit in there too.
I know many commuters who would use this sort of service.
It’s not for all locations. It would work a treat at large offices or dense areas, such as Canary Wharf.

    Quick rudimentary maths:

    20 Bikes
    50p/day

    Income
    10 day
    50 Week
    200 Month
    2400 Yr

    Cost
    2500 Building
    6500 Land
    9000 Total

    Pay back
    3.75 yr payback
    2400 income after yr 4
    -400 maintenance
    2000 total

    I like the idea.
I for one would be happy to pay for secure cycle storage.
You could rent out the individual units. It would ensure the user a permanent location that is safe and accessible at their convenience. As you say, they take up a small area. You could even stack them. There must be a market for this.

    I’ve had a couple Kingdoms- a Foia V2 and a 650b Brigante.
Chris has been a super guy to deal with and the bikes have been great.
I don’t see why this bike would be any different. Not bad value for money either!

    If it’s a-
short ride: phone, keys, sweets (despite impaling myself several times with keys and sweets)
long ride: nothing- all goes in the bag

    29er still available.

I’m also not a P29er owner but have sliding dropouts.

I’ve not used any locktite either. I’ve had the bike 1 1/2 years and have adjusted it a couple times (for clearance/SS, etc) and once tight, they’ve stayed tight.

That looks really nice! Suits the purple.
I’m currently running 740mm devinci bars with 20mm rise. I think it’ll benefit from from something wider and lower rise. I think 760mm might do it.
I’ve never been a fan of funny shaped bars. Don’t agree with my riding style.

Has anyone heard anything new about these?
Dates seem to be changing all the time.
Seems to be turning into the tyre equivalent of a Rocket.

Funny forks.. So that must be Lefty, Lauf or RS-1. As you’re into XC it must be some sort of Carbon bike. You have enquired about mail order bikes so that opens lots of doors.
    I think it might be a;
    – Canyon Lux CF 29er
    – Spec Stumpjumper
    – Whyte 29 C Team
    – Cube Elite C68 SLT 29
    – Cannondale F-SI Black

Or I could be way off

Great riding and some lovely shots.
It’s nice to see Danny riding something different on a different bike.

I do think that Chris Akrigg looks much more comfortable and in control on on FS bikes though.

Not bad VFM if it is £7k. You get a SC bike ( I’d guess it’ll be a Carbon mid/top range one) and coaching/support.

I did a good example of this the other day.
I was riding a bike with Euro brakes (reversed leavers) and pulled the front brake instead of the rear. Full force onto my back/ass.

I had some made up my Gil. Great communication and really nice product.
Sadly the sticker’s on DT didn’t fully cover the original decals.
I asked if he could make them slightly larger and at a discount rate (even though I believe it was not my fault) but no go. He wanted the full price again.

I’ve not touched my HT with 120mm forks since I got the Stooge.
I can see myself just leaving it for bigger days out at the moment.
Definitely won’t be coming out over winter.

I always fit the headset first. It means I can get the forks on quicker and starts to look like I’ve done something and getting somewhere.

    Amazing! Thanks everyone.
Once overtime stops at work I’ll have to take you up on your offers.
If anyone has any of these routes on Strava, etc., could I please have a link?

How about a Cotic Solaris with a 120mm fork and 1×10.
Keep the KM rigid for winter and then the Cotic for nice, long days in nicer weather.

I think it’s hard to look past the On-One Parkwood

There’s also various boardman/13 bikes from Halfords or maybe some of the Pinnacles from Evans.

Full XTR m9000 on my singlespeed- zero performance change but I like the bling.
Oh, and Pikes set at 120mm on my 650b HT- overkill but you know.. bling.

My bikes tend to end up like Triggers broom.. although the frame usually stays the same.
