You’re name suggest you’re fully prepared. Get yourself a gold AKA and you’ll be safe. Sounds like you’ll be fine. Enjoy!

Do it. Only suggestion is to stick strongly to the nice/ more expensive areas. Don’t follow any one you don’t know to a ‘house party’…

You knew all that already though.

Lucky sod! Where in the country? If it’s anything like Nigerian culture you’ll love the night life.

Sharki, not sure why I bothered asking.

Little out of my way but I have family down there who would love it (obviously).

Joe Barnes has left Orange and is on Canyon too!
I didn’t see either of them changing teams. Good on canyon.
With some big media names they’ll grown and develop. Can’t be bad.

    Blender!

Healthy eating made super easy and tasty.
I thought a good set of kitchen knifes was my best buy until I picked up the blender. I’m a convert. Thinking up all sorts of funky meals..

Op, what do you think of the highball?

Went for a lovely road ride yesterday for a couple hours. 2 good podcasts from Click and I was set. Really enjoyed it and learnt some interesting things about robots. Will need to do it more often.

Funnily enough, I stopped at a set of lights and a police officer on his bike tapped me on the shoulder. We had a nice chat about ridings. Turns out he’s a roadie so we had a chat about riding. He never mentioned my headphones. Nice chap.

I’m always looking over my shoulder when I make a maneuver anyway so I don’t see why it should effect anything. I can hear car engines over the podcast anyway.

Every year we go to the same ski resort and we always buy milk straight from the farmer. Some mornings it’s still warm. Best tasting stuff I’ve ever had.

All looking rather nice. My inner Cotic fan is tempted.
What weights are they building into?

I put some hayes HFX9s on my sisters bike about 10 years ago. All i’ve done is change the pads. Not one bleed and the power is fantastic!

My mum used to have it in her Galaxy about 15 years ago. A huge bit of glass but it cleared unbelievably quickly.

I bought some Tora 318 forks for £120 on Pinkbike a few years ago to finish off my first bike build. My plan was to get some sids when funds would allow. Turns out the Tora is a great fork! I never bothered upgrading it. It was fantastic. Had lock-out and was dead easy to service. Highly recommend picking up a set.

Edit: This build came in at £550

Low rise Race Face Respond bars on my Yelli with 140mm forks and slammed 50mm stem. Lovely set-up. Suits me well!

I was born and educated in Germany until I started ‘gymnasium’ (secondary school). In Germany they drill into you how evil the Nazis were. In every year I was taught history and there was always a segment on WWII and Hitler. I can’t describe how much they teach it and also to the degree they take it. Even when watching TV- you can flick through a few channels and there is guaranteed to be a history movie on WWII.

In contrast, when I came to England I was amazed at how little it is mentioned over here and also how it is taught. Try doing a Nazi salute in Germany. The village will outcast you. I think it’s impossible for a German to deny it.

What do we think of these cranks?
I imagine they are probably home drilled. Judging by his fork set-ups.

Wow, that’s one road away from me! I didn’t even know that it had happened. Few police signs around that time but that’s all.

I don’t like riding round Cov.

I love it! Looks ideal for some DH trips. Now patiently awaiting sizing and price.

Reminds me of the Canfield 29er Proto.

My friend was called Richard but decided to change it to Sam one day in primary school. Now every one calls him Sam and even his work refers to him as Sam on the web. It’s not legal though.

Yes, in Coventry at the moment. I live in the centre so when I want a road ride I mix pavement, bus lanes and cycle lanes to get out of the city and then there’s miles of countryside with only a few cars now and again.

I’m a country boy so I don’t like riding with traffic. I do everything I can to avoid most of it.

Does she like science? My dad bought me the dictionary of science. Firstly thought it was a bit lame but it is actually the best book I’ve picked up. It’s fun to flick through and you learn a lot. I still use it and I’m 22. I imagine it would good fun to refer to in the future. I’ll be keeping mine close.

    Duster!
I built one as an XC bike and did thousands of miles on it. It just kept going. Sold to buy something more bling but current owner is still using it daily. The Hi is a good spec too.

1 Bedroom Apartment (bedroom and kitchen/living room) at the moment:
£35 electric (full electric- heating and appliances)
    £21 water

Not bad considering we (Me and the other half) are students so the heater, tv, oven & computer is always on at the moment. Toasty flat!

All different saddles on different bikes. Fair to say that I love the shape and it suits me! Cheap and light(ish) too.

    And a different charge saddle..

    Im a shorts-ist.

Wear a thermal, tshirt, coat with some nice gloves and my legs stay warm. Build up a nice sweat regardless of temperature really.

I suppose its because I have never felt colder than doing a winter season in a summer suit (surf photography). Nothing compares to that.

I travel a fair amount and enjoy music- used Shure, Bose, ZH and others. Bought these from the US airport because I broke my Shures. I thought they would be a cheap fix. They are fantastic! I use them for riding in the rain and for gym sessions. They’ve held up so well. Easily rival headphones in the £50-70 price bracket. Best value-for-money option without a doubt. Mine have got blue wires and earbuds. The pack came with different sizes too. Not sure why they are adveritzed as bass heavy.. The treble and bass are well balanced. Not biased to either.

Forget the skull candy junk and cheap ZH and Bose ones. You have to give them a punt! (I might buy them off you if you decide you dont like them).
