Yes it will fit on a 10 spd cassette.
From what I’ve read- the spacing and thickness is different to the 10 spd.
Why do you ask- compatibility with other components ?

Our university remove all bikes during the summer holiday if they don’t display a yellow band. Once removed they are given to the Re-cycle charity.
Might be worth asking Universities and also train stations.

Thanks for the advice. Nice to know that standard PPE glasses works fine for this.

@alanf, have your tried something like what i use? you can adjust the arms in any direction, same with the nose bridge, you should be able to get something that doesn’t give you a headache ballache then.

    Fixed that for you.

I love Rocky Mountain bikes. They seem to have a great line up plus Tippie rides for them. Enjoy!

    Great spec.
I’d definitely opt for the CCDB Air over any other shock.
Mine feel’s fantastic and was a huge improvement over all other shocks I’ve tried.

The cranks are mainly asthetic. SLX or XT are fine and match your sepc but I’d stick with the Next’s if you can afford it.

    I’ve gone the other way.
I use to hate bags but bought one cheap recently and now love it.
I use to be able to feel the tools moving, vibrating and making noise.
Moved it all into my bag and I don’t even notice I’m wearing it. Lovely.
It also keeps me a bit warmer and dryer this time of year. I’m a convert.

Haven’t touched anything but my Stooge (SS rigid) since building it up a few months ago. Can’t see me getting rid of the others though. They all do something different.

Heads up- LB now have 38mm 29er rims available (although not advertised yet) and they have 50mm 29er rims ready for the end of December.
Same finish and options as usual.

    Santa Cruz Bronson 27.5”
    Santa Cruz Heckler 27.5”

    Whyte G150 27.5”
    Whyte s129 29”
    Specialized Stumpjumper 27.5”

I think that pretty much every manufacturer makes a bike that fits into your travel spec. It comes down to suspension platform/spec/price/brand snobbery.

I think we’re the same height matt. I’m running 25mm with 20mm rise bars so that’s roughly the same as 40mm and flat bars.

How about a second hand DSLR?
I started on a SLR but it was big cost and faff to get the film developed.
Get a DSLR and a simple editing/photo manager programme (like Picassa?) and go from there. I learnt so much from the DSLR and love it. Would also allow her to do some HD filming.
    I picked up a Nikon 3100D with a lense and 32gb card for £120.

okay that makes more sense. Thanks.
So this relies on the person part of the scheme being honest and not wanting to sell within the 3 years.
I’m going to hold on the bike anyway so this works for me.

Not true. It’s between me an the Cyclescheme.
Essentially I own the bike once I pay the £70 anyway? If it gets stolen it’s on me.

What happens if I leave my employment during the extended use period?
The Extended Use Agreement is between you and Cyclescheme, so even if you leave your current job the extended use period will continue to run, subject to continuing to use the bicycle for Commuting.

On the stooge- 0′ 50mm stem with 745mm low rise bars

    In the family:
On the Gary Fisher- 90mm stem with 720mm bars

I ride all the bikes a fair bit but the Stooge is the most fun by miles.
The Gary Fisher has awful geometry and it’s to small for me.

The email suggests that the EUA is a one off deposit with no further cost.

    1. Cyclescheme’s Extended Use Agreement (EUA)
For a Cyclescheme package under £500 you’ll be paying 3% of the original value, and for a package over £500 you’ll be paying 7%. The bike then remains ‘hired’ for a further 36 months (but with no further monthly payments) until ownership is officially transferred to you at no further cost. This means a worst case scenario of a payment of £70 and saving of at least 25%.
If you wish to keep the bike package at the end of this extended hire period, then we can simply keep hold of your deposit and use it as payment for your bike package. If you’d rather return it, then we will refund your deposit in full. Either way, you’ll only pay the one-off deposit mentioned above, nothing more.

All my stems are angled about 2-4 degrees to left.
I broke my arm and can’t fully extend it now. In order to be comfortable I’ve had to rotate the stem.

Everyone always comments when they have a go. Some can’t work out why it feels funny and others think I don’t know what I’m doing.

I’m not a FF fan really. I like some of their tracks and that’s about it.
I saw them at Reading fest ’13 and they were amazing. One of the best bands I saw. Perfect performance in my book. I watched it back on TV and thought it looked average. You had to be there.

No real help as I’ve got a 27.5” Pike with Flows but there isn’t much clearance with a 2.35” Nobby Nic. I would be very surprised if it would fit in a 26”.
