Free but if I do pay its £2.10. Perks of having a friend who’s family runs a brewery!

Shale gas is hugely polluting due to the high methane release during the lifetime of a well. Puts it on par with coal! I wouldn’t worry about water contamination or earthquakes. It won’t happen in this country (to any large degree) because we are far more sensible than the Americans and we actually enforce policies.

The important bit for the UK is that it gives us more energy security. Energy security is the main game globally now. Americas gas boom has made them more sensible (for now) and stopping any new conflicts arising. Same applies for the UK. If we can be energy secure with our own resources then we can stop backing other countries and conflicts to gain more energy. It’s all politics!

I’m just writing my MSc dissertation on the subject. Really interesting topics. 14,000 words to go.

None second hand as all the 650b riders are enjoying them to much to sell.

This country or a few individuals that the media loves to hype up about binge drinking culture

Just finishing off my post grad course and I can honestly say that 99% of students have that attitue. You can’t go for a quiet pint. International drinking rules always apply. I have a borad range of friends but drinking excessively is the one thing they all share. Need a more EU approach for young people and drink but thats for a different thread.

I think the drinks fine at a school providing the parents are responisble with their consumption. It’s a good role modeling if they don’t all get sloshed but rather have just one pint and chat with all the other parents.

Triple clamps. They just slide the stantions down and removed the top crown. Not the safest thing to ride…

My girlfriend is rocking the 3gs and I’ve got the 4s. I can’t tell the difference between using them. Identical interface, from what I can tell. Had no issues with speed. Camera isn’t as good and theres a few apps that dont work. Surfing the net on the go is also slower but on wifi it’s identicle.

For £60 it’s a bargain!I’d be tempted to pick one up for that price just for strava.

Maybe I’m just the equvielnt of a phone ‘mincer’ but I would have thought that for a sub £100 phone you can’t do better.

Yeah but when you just paid £20 for 99p worth of food the temptation is to try and get your monies worth

It’s Vue that makes the money, not the poor minimum wadge employees who are treated like crap by every one! No one made you buy the food. You can bring stuff from the outside in..

I worked at Vue for a summer and the same thing happened. Customers would buy food & drink. Then just leave it at the end of the film despite having to walk past me at the bottom of the stairs with an open bin..

Really? How hard is it.. 2 items of cardboard into one bin. Fair to say I hated humans after working there for 6 months. I did wonder how some of them didn’t forget to breathe.

I always clean up after myself. People have better things to do than clear up after us animals.

I’ve done it to 2 charge blenders & 1 charge duster.
Really easy to strip the paint off. Just take your time and dont rush it.

BUT the finish was no where near as good as it is on my explosif. Even with some wire wool and a can of lacquer it was still rather agricultural. After a season there was rust veins under the lacquer and it also chipped. The explosif on the other hand is lovely. Really, really nice finish and very durable! No rust to be seen and you cant even chip the finish. Not sure what they used but it’s ace.

Those running the Lezyne- any one using the small? I see they are either small or medium. Would be good to hear how well the small performs.

    Same issue 2 times!

Ordered a chainguide. Stated dispatched. Never turned up. Phoned them and they said they were all out. Next batch coming in more than a month..

Ordered a renthal chainring for my XOs. Same thing happened but 3 month waiting list.

Not touching them with a barge poll.

Just started using strava. Surprised how dangerous some of the segments are! Winding footpaths with hedgerows either side. You can’t see more than 5 meters ahead at most and the KOM on one route is 28.5 km/h! I see loads of dog walkers along this route and can’t help but feel that the riders are pretty careless.

It is satisfying taking a KOM though. Took my first this morning 😀

    Oh, Ti Buzzard sounds interesting!

EBB? There’s other ways of setting a frame up SS without the huge cost.

What does this do that the Buzzard, Yelli, Honza and QH can’t?
Big price tag with cheap tubing. Not interested.

Edit: The pictures of the riding are boring too. Looks like he’s destroying a berm above.

I’m running 120mm Revs on my 650b. Great amount of travel for the southern riding. Loved riding round Swinley red- happily on the heels of guys on 6” bikes. I do fancy converting them to u-turn though. Would love to have 100-1400 to cover everything.

    Love my 650b.
Spent years on 26” an 29” but was never happy with either.
27.5” came along and thought I’d give it a try. Perfect!
Probably a combination of good geo as well as wheelsize.
    Worked for me at 5’9”.

Everyones different though. I’ve got friends who are 6’4” and love 26” and 5’6” who love 29”. Just give them all a shot and see what you gel with (before choosing 650b 😛 ).

Will I notice any difference between 105 and Ultegra?
Similar to SLX vs. XT ?

Ibis 650b conversions are hugely popular. If you have a look on MTBR theres hundreds of pages about mojo 650b conversion. Maybe they took the hint and made a model specific 650b?!

Mine arrives between 9.14-10.14 apparently! Rather excited.

eyerideit- I’m looking at similar spec to you and priced mine up at £1580 (inc. frame) with some careful bargain hunting and the excel table says it should weigh 15.5lbs (more like 16 then).
