I thoroughly enjoyed mine. I never used it on sand/snow/mud. Just through summer. It was much better than I thought. I was building it up in my head to be slow, sluggish, heavy, dull. When I built it up it was actually fantastic. Not much slower (+10% longer for the same distance) and was great fun over the roots. I didn’t miss the suspension. I ended up selling it because it was just to much like my other bike and couldn’t keep both in my flat. I’ll pick another one up when I have the space/money. No regret.

Usual ride; 15-30 miles on XC/singletrack with little elevation in Colchester.

I’ve never touched wheels but had a buckled one and no way to get it to the LBS so I gave it a go. Really easy. Just take your time. I trued mine and it’s take 2 months of abuse since. Very satisfying.

I was at a service station on the M25 about an hour ago and there was thousands of people (kids to adults) wearing team karate/martial arts kit. Was it the same event? Did think something big must have been going on.

So is this issue just with the silver paint? Is the comp safe?

Is the team worth the additional money over the comp?

Not really sure what everyone is moaning about.. recently moved into a new 2 bed flat and the bills are half what they where in our last two one bed flats! Infact, petrol prices are dropping too, 128.7p here. That’s 10p cheaper than 4 months ago. All in all, I am happy!

Mine was fantastic! Opened my eyes to the dropped world. Worked flawlessly through summer and a winter, plus a few crashes.

My (much younger) sister recently received her first one aged 15. My mum didn’t want her getting it for odd reasons when she was 13. She was the only one in her YEAR not to receive it. Fair to say she got questioned by her classmates for a while. Maybe even bullied? Didn’t sound particularly pleasant. Apart from being important for her health, it’s also important from a social perspective.

But what wheelsize?

Get the on-one and powder coat it a different colour. White is horrible anyway.

Mine kept freezing then I got dropped into free roam with a couple other players but couldn’t do anything interesting. Couldn’t steal planes and couldn’t buy much. Fingers crossed it’ll be sorted soon.

I’ve got some elixir 5s on my bike. Fantastic brake. So much more feel than the XTs (new shape) they replaced. You can feather the break easier and ultimate stopping power is better too. Not had any issues with them to date. My old juicy 3s were great too.

Bought from westbrook cycles when the PSA was about. Not had a chance to build it up yet. I’ve fitted the headset and that’s it. £500 posted (in original box).
