Insurers class no claims gained on a car as different from no claims gained on a van.

Thanks thats really useful info, thanks rone. The W1070st is more my budget, and looks ok still.

Will keep an eye on the HK website for those speakers too, thanks Flying Ox.

omg, I thank you not for that link. I was happy being blissfully unaware I’d been left behind the times ;-)

A projector suits us better as it’s more of an occasional thing and can be packed away when not in use/[people stay over.

Yeah I appreciate it was probably Stone who called it suicide to cover, but it seemed too obvious others would have twigged. And Reed would have had bruising after than man-tussle. Anyway I still really enjoyed it.

I enjoyed it, but yes the jumping in time was confusing.

Also, why would anyone think someone had committed suicide by lying down on a random part of the floor in their house, before blowing their brains out!? Especially after his son just saw him and he was in a very good mood (and possibly had a new girlfriend).

Coed Y Brenin blue should keep you all entertained. The Marin trail has had a facelift just recently too and also has a short route option.

Fancied some Cowchippers myself, but I’d be interested in the Bombers Scud.

They’d be replacing some Cowbell 2’s if anyone is interested…

First bit from Pentre-bont (station) is a good, wide, hard track uphill but then is becomes a boggy mess and hard to find. Well, it was/has been like that, but was due for some work I believe, so I’m hoping it’s changed now. The descent should be a nice singletrack.

Someone had a converted fire extinguisher which had an adapted top so you could pump the pressure back up. I have a cheap garden spray thing too which is good, but the soap suds thing looked neat and worked well.

Brilliant, thanks very much that all sounds good then.

I may even keep the 800 and put the OSM maps on that too.

Thanks. I guess there is enough space on the SD card which they provide the OS maps on, to add the OSM files to. Is it much hassle to manually choose/switch between the different maps during the ride?

    Thanks people.

That was the funny little converter I was looking at. Will get that then. Might give the topeak head bodge a go too. The park tool is nice but too pricey for irregular use.

Any other useful things to put on the end of a compressor? 8O

Grims Ditch is great (and just outside of Wallingford). Rides on Air bike shop in Wallingford is good. Get the Chilterns book by Rough Ride Guide, it has looads of routes around there.

Yeah I think I can live with the wider cranks so reckon if there isn’t much else to worry about I’ll go down that route.

The Kermode looks very interesting. Did you get it from overseas – is there duty etc to pay on top?

The Scott Big John looks very nice too.

I like the sound of the V2 Puffin, but it’s another (heavy) steel frame.

Ohh thanks for that. I’ve been on the look out for bikes that can be both fat and semi-fat (29+). Will have to investigate further.

Ah ok, thanks. Very odd the person I spoke to said the definitely didn’t own it but had no problem with it being used! Sounds like it’s still a legal right of way then anyway.

    Thank you

Ah ok, thanks. Yeah I thought and it seems like it used to be open to cars.

I spoke to the MOD and they said it wasn’t theirs oddly (but they’d have no issues if it was). Sounds like it should be ok to use – I guess bikes can squeeze around the sides can they?
